Home2 Suites by Hilton New York Times Square

This is a very busy hotel. We first had a hotel and because of an error we had to find a hotel quickly for 7 nights, when this hotel popped up, I grabbed it. The price was extremely reasonable $1700 for 7 nights in Times Square!! We were literally 1 1/2 blocks from the middle of the Times Square itself. The rooms were very small, but who cares if you are in NY you are busy and we were there to sleep and shower, so it was perfect for me and my girlfriend as we were there to see broadway shows, another huge bonus on this hotel I think the furthest we walked for a show was 3 1/2 blocks. The staff was super nice, everyone was really nice, front desk, the morning staff at the breakfast. We even had a glitch with the temperature in our room and they sent someone up immediately at 10pm and fixed the problem seriously nice. T hey even had a limo service in the hotel so if you needed a day trip like we did we were able to reserve very easily and the vehicles are right in front waiting for you, super nice. There is one person I want to point out and that was Jason, he was the front doorman and I picked his brain on everything like where to eat and where to avoid. He was a wealth of information and so sweet. He became my go to person for everything during our stay. The only con I would say is the eggs, sausage and potatoes they had at breakfast were disgusting. I stuck to fruit or a bowl of cereal.

This hotel has a great location, it’s clean and has excellent guest services. Shout out to Jason Alvarez head of the bell team who helped my wife with storing her bag and finding a quiet space for her to make an important video call. He went above and beyond. They also let my diamond member wife check in early. She was here for a meeting at the NASDAQ and took in a show. In general staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms are smallish as well as bathrooms, but they are clean and quiet. You are really just sleeping here and enjoying the city. This place is a terrific value if you want to be in the middle of it all. Nice roof bar too!

The Home2Suites Times Square is the perfect hotel in Times Square. It is virtually new, the rooms are large by Manhattan standards, the elevators are fast, and all the great sites in Times Square and midtown are easily walkable. Loved it! Will make another trip to NYC soon, because of how great this trip was. The only negative for the hotel was the HVAC was loud. (BTW, the Hotel is double branded as Hampton Inn and Home2Suites)

I was worried about the room size after reading reviews, but honestly there was plenty of space for the 2 of us (not sure how much room there would be if you were using the sofa bed). $500 damage deposit for 5 night stay. We received this back no issues within 24 hours. Location is great. Breakfast was basic, nothing special but edible. If you are there before 8/8.30am there is no major queues and no issue finding a table. No major issues with the lifts. The most we waited was between 5-10 minutes on one of the days around 9.30am. The air con was an issue for us. Being from Ireland we are not used to this. It was EXTREMELY noisy and kept us awake at times. The customer service at the front desk is questionable. We were led to believe rooms would be serviced every 2 days, however this was not the case. I asked on the 3rd day at reception for a service but was told this wouldn't happen until day 4. I had to request additional towels myself. For us, the location made up for any issues.

Just returned from our Family Spring Break trip in NYC and our stay at Home 2Suites was Outstanding. The hotel is in a prime location, just around the corner from the heart of Times Square. The rooms are small, so I booked 3 Queen Studio Suite rooms to accommodate the whole family comfortably. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. Customer service was Excellent!! As others have stated elevators can be slow during prime times and breakfast does get very crowded after 8am. Special shout out to Tyreck-Front Desk for always welcoming us every evening with a smile and asking how our day was and for providing great recommendations for restaurants/lounges in the area. And Jordan-Housekeeping for quickly responding to our needs late on first night. My family and I will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to NYC.
