Homewood Suites by Hilton West Fargo Sanford Medical Center

Great staff! Stayed there on a business trip. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was super friendly. The rooms were large and comfy. The hotel is very clean and I would suggest to anyone to make this there next stop when in the Fargo Metro area.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious, quiet, and clean. The fitness center was one of the best we have seen in a hotel before. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

While the hotel looks like a nice hotel the details just do not pan out. The AC units are super loud, if I didn't have sleep buds I couldn't have slept. We found out our fridge doesn't work and then when we needed dishes the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The couch is dirty is just collapses when you sit in it. A little thing but the ceiling fan is wired backwards, speed 4 is slow and speed 1 is fast. I have stayed 3 or 4 times over the last 4 years and it has just gone down hill. I expect more from Hilton.

This is your basic Homewood Suites. It was fairly up-to-date. Breakfast was just ok, it seemed like they just threw it together some mornings and others were taken down before closing time. As for the room, it was ok. The shower could have been cleaned better and a couple of tiles were falling off the wall along the floor. The bed was comfy and overall the room was pretty clean. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Overal we have stayed at many hotels in Fargo and I don't think for the money this one holds the value. We will probably try others in the area or go back to the ones we know are better value for the dollar.

I did the advanced check-in the morning of our stay through my Hilton Rewards email. I requested a particular room and said we'd be checking in by 3pm. Upon arrival at 3:20pm, that room was not ready. We were given a different room. If a room has been chosen, does it not show up on a priority list of some sort for housekeeping?! I digress. We checked in to our room and was greeted by a stained comforter, stained carpet (looked like the Kool-aid man was murdered there), stained curtains (oil of some sort), dirty counter tops, and broken fixtures. We were leaving the hotel and the elevator was missing the lobby button label. Completely gone. So I pressed 1R thinking it would get us to the lobby, and that opened the housekeeping room at the back of the elevator on the 1st floor. We figured it out, but replace the button label! Continental breakfast was mediocre at best. The oatmeal was slimy and cold, the eggs were watery and cold, the coffee was more cold than hot..the best part of breakfast was the apple and yogurt. I am incredibly disappointed in this hotel. It was built in 2017...it is 7 years old...how does a hotel of 'Hilton' brand, that used to stand for quality and high standards, fall so short on maintenance and repairs? I will not be staying at this hotel again, and it makes me hesitant to continue staying at Hilton hotels if this is the standard of care they show to their guests.
