Baymont by Wyndham Minot

The Baymount in Minot needs to update their rooms, have better housekeeping cleanliness, the room was freezing when we arrived. There was gross stuff on the couch and the toilet was broken and it felt like you were sitting on the floor. Horrible for the price you pay!

This is the worst Wyndham hotel I’ve ever stayed at first let me start by saying I worked for Wyndham Hotel and they do not play and I hope Wyndham sees this review along with the other victims. I should say that experience the same experience that I experience. I was here for a work trip and there was no clean towels they would not refresh them. They kept saying they were short on the housekeepers housekeepers. Will be there late at night past 10 o’clock still with no rooms cleaned. The breakfast was nasty always not hot burnt at the bottom because they don’t come refresh them at all the snacks and muffins they had were dry to the point that you had to have a glass of milk or orange juice to finish eating a muffin that was probably still let’s not get started on the coffee they provided overall they need to be reported to Wyndham. They are not up to par with Wyndham standards and I know that for a fact starting with the towels, and even in the comments that I’m reading right now the pool was disgusting wasn’t changed mold and some of the rooms that I’ve heard from other colleagues that were staying in there. This is very nasty and unprofessional. The front desk. Staff members are never at the front desk. They also need to work on hygiene themselves. Be up to part when you’re working at the front desk and have a good attitude. The general manager of this hotel needs to be sit down or thrown out do not ever ever ever ever ever waste your money on a night there unless you’re desperate

Bed was comfortable- only good thing I can say about this hotel. When I checked in I had half a roll of toilet paper and never was restocked. Tv never worked. Carpets need ripped out they are dirty looking room smelt when I first walked in. Went to check out the pool- it was nasty looking then got locked inside the pool room, had to call front desk who had trouble getting me out. Someone flushed drugs down the toilet which flooded the main floor hall. Breakfast was meh no hot food at 8:30am and never restocked. Wouldn’t stay again. Has so much potential but seems to have 1 staff doing everything.

Worst stay ever. Not clean. Not maintained. No clean towels. Broken beds. Pool and hot tub have broken sharp grout pieces on bottom. Broken tiles in elevator causing trip hazard. Room had unpleasant smell, as did the hallway. TV remote would only turn on but no control for volume or channels. Management is inept and rude to both staff and customers. Did not listen or care to correct the issues we had. Food quality is garbage. Will never go back.

This hotel is not what it once was! When we arrived at the hotel to check in the person at reception didn't really seem to want to be there. We got to our room and it had a somewhat unpleasant odor. But as we were extremely tired we didn't say anything. Hotel was not as clean as it had been in the past. Some unpleasant orders in the hallway as well. Go down for breakfast items weren't there that should have been like butter bread Etc. Ran into other guests that felt the same that we did that the hotel had gone downhill. Unfortunately this is the second Windham Hotel that we have stayed in that is not what it once was. We had a similar issue in Fargo in August. I know that there is a shortage of Staff people don't seem to want to work but it's unfortunate when it reflects so badly on the hotel. Next time we go to Minot we will be picking a different hotel.
