Staybridge Suites Grand Forks an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel for the most part, but first room we were given smelled of smoke. The management was not very responsive, but we did check in late. When we final got another room it was much better. Breakfast was good. The rest of our stay was uneventful.

Fabulous stay for 3 months with work, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like you are part of their family! Room cleaned daily to a good standard and “deep cleaned” once a week. The breakfast selection has a great breadth with both cold and cooked options. Thanks to everyone there!

The Staybridge was the perfect hotel for us! We stayed in the lovely and spacious 2 bedroom suite - we each had our own bathroom as well! The kitchen area was perfect for preparing babies bottles. Very spacious fridge and freezer area. The air conditioner was rock solid and the breakfast was delicious - many choices. An evening social was served on the evenings we were there as well! Delicious tacos and ravioli. We will definitely be back!

have stayed at Staybridge in may locations and this is the best one. I have read previous reviews but it appears that they have fixed the issues - from personnel to cleanliness North Dakota is a different place to come to and being across the street from a super busy event center makes this location a prime hotel. The staff is great, Music is especially helpful and the cook for social hour is fantastic. The breakfast is always good, even better on weekends with fresh strawberries. The only downside is that the windows don’t open to let air to the pool area and very hot during spring and summer. The other downside is not the hotels fault, but people do not watch their kids in pool area and they trash it. Constantly. Other than that - if you need something- they get it - like propane for grills or extra pillows or suggestions on where to go. The staff is awesome. Just have to say. - if something is wrong - let management know or staff and they will fix it.

Where do I start with this useless dirty overpriced hotel!!?? Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Everything looked overall dirty (bathroom)(glasses)(floors)(Stains on the walls and mattress) We had a rude awakening at 230am when the room was a sauna and the thermostat had a mind of its own! 89/90 degrees!! We tried to change the temp and nothing would work! We tried calling the front desk multiple times and any other numbers we could in the hotel with no one picking up for 20 minutes! Then went down talked to the front desk person which seemed super slow. He gave us another room but while we were moving our stuff of course the hotel keys weren't working so we were now stuck out of the room! We finally got the cards reset to come into also another dirty rough looking room with used toilet paper? Who knows if someone was in there slightly prior to us? I immediately started throwing up from the heat and the situation we were in. The next day we spoke to Carl which is the manager and said he couldn't comp us anything but we could check out. Now how could we check out when our event we were there for was across the street with all other hotels booked for the weekend! He essentially gave us 2 options leave without doing anything and sleep in the car or stay and deal with the terrible room/workers/management. With no choice we ended up staying knowing our trip was ruined! When the maintenance guy showed up (which is only there on weekends) Admitted in front of us and workers that the thermostat is broken and just blowing hot air and that he didn't even know how to fix it!!!?? How is this safe!? I'm not sure what kind of circus is being ran in this hotel but management/workers are useless and non caring people. What if there was an elderly couple or an infant in the room instead of us!!? The outcome would of been detrimental!! So far we have had no help, no money back and no concern for our wellbeing. Management should be ashamed and retrained or gone. By far the worst hotel experience. We will not stop until this is fixed! STAYAWAY FROM THE STAYBRIDGE!
