Tru by Hilton Wilson

Stayed for one night. Very clean and nice hotel. Well set up and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and the common areas were kept very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone driving through the area!

We stayed for one night. The hotel was clean, friendly staff and location was good. The AC was very noisy. Couldn’t get much sleep, and in the morning the breakfast was not up to par. The coffee was horrible, The pancake machine was so slow.!!!

There is nothing wrong with Tru by Hilton except that their rooms are very small. The bed barely fits in the room, there is no dresser, a small cramped desk and nowhere to put your stuff. On the other hand, it is one of the cheapest for its class of hotel. But you would be better off going to a Quality Inn or that level hotel, as it will still be clean and nice and you will be able to breath in your room. The breakfast was mediocre, standard fare and not done well. They do have an automatic pancake maker which is so much fun! They also have a pool table. I agree with other reviewers that it is clean and front desk efficient and it has very jolly furnishings. But really, you can do better at a lower price.

Room was minuscule! Only one chair to sit in. Paid $300+ for one night. Expected more. New hotel but NOT up to the Hilton brand standards. Thought I was in a European mini-hotel room. I’ve made Hilton my brand of choice for 30 years of business & pleasure. Shocked that they’ve gone on the cheap. Pick somewhere else in Wilson, NC.

This was a newer facility, so obviously clean and up to date. The rooms with Tru are smaller than normal, and pretty sparse, so only take into the room what you need. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was typical for these types of Hilton properties. Would definitely stay there again.
