MainStay Suites Wilmington University Area

I had an event at UNCW and needed a place in Wilmington to stay for the night. I believe there were multiple events going on in the area and finding a decent priced room was almost impossible. This one was quite a bit cheaper than most options so I was a little skeptical but decided to try it anyway since the reviews were good. It was even better than I expected. The room was incredible. Huge, full kitchen, little sitting area and two beds. Felt clean. They even had a little list of things you could borrow if you were staying long term like an air fryer, blender, and even board games. If we had been staying long term that would have been so nice. The breakfast had a lot of options. It was really close to UNCW and not too far to downtown. I had to do full week stays in the obx area for a job right around this and I was wishing so much the rooms there had been even half as good as this one. I would definitely stay again.

I sure wish we had found this hotel.before. the room is extremely spacious, the kitchen was large and had everything to be functional. We are a family of 4 and this gave our 10 yr old granson room to play and us room to relax .

Very clean, gorgeous courtyard with nice grill, patio sofas, amazing landscaping! The staff was so sweet and courteous with every interaction. This was our second stay here and definitely will return!
