Econo Lodge Salisbury

The bed had thing all underneath it. The room had the funkiest smell like someone had been making drugs in it. I sould have slept in my car rather than stay here. Don't make the mistake that I made, you stay anyplace but here. People walking around all night. I give it a zero rating.

It was an average stay. The thing I liked the least was that the parking lot was not close to the room so when someone's car alarm went off, I needed to dress to go check on my car. The internet worked fine. The shower leaked and the refrigerator made a lot of noise. Staff was friendly and informative. Lots of traffic noise.

Easy reservation through Choice Hotels. Dirty floors. Terrible maintenance of building and room. No stopper for the tub. The door jam lock needed repair as the screw was missing and the door was difficult to open. Grounds had trash and dirty conditions. Huge ants in the room. We had to get man to spray.

I rarely have a need to stay in a hotel during my visits to Salisbury but my hardwood floors were scheduled for sanding and I needed a place to stay for a couple of days. Forget about the free breakfast unless you want a waffle or a wrapped Danish. No variety at all. There is a picnic table in a covered area outside my room and it turned out that was the place that people liked to congregate at night. It was a little noisy so I asked the front desk lady the next day if I could move to another room for my second night. She hemmed and hawwed and then proceeded with a list of reasons why this wasn't possible. Customer service? You won't find it here. Stay elsewhere.

Didn't stay, was not allowed to check in due to business card (same used to reserve) Front Desk Attendant refused to contact my company owner for verification. She told me to call Choice to canceled reservation but she denied cancelation when communicating with Choice I'm a diamond member and former employee of a Choice Hotel THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
