Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Crabtree

I booked a 1 night stay for 2 double beds and was advised by the front desk that because I booked though a third party(delta airlines), all of the rooms that had double beds were taken and I had to settle for a room with a king size instead. Yet I was charged for a double bed room since that's what I originally booked. Breakfast was great, I had a made to order omelet and I was definitely pleased. There was an evening reception that ran from 5:30pm - 7:30pm when you can get up to 2 free drinks per guests and unlimited free snacks. There's a bar and restaurant and indoor at this hotel however my Daughter and I did not take advantage of these amenities. I didn't realize the hotel had an indoor pool until after we checked in. There's outdoor parking as well as an indoor parking garage, this hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Crabtree mall which is very convenient since the parking at the Crabtree mall can get really busy during the afternoon and evening. Embassy suites is usually my go to hotel whether I stay out of town or do a staycation but I'm not sure if I will ever return back to this location. Regardless how I booked my hotel stay, I should be treated with the same respect as any other guests.

Our stay was amazing, thanks to all the staff and particularly Jaylen, who accommodated us even though one of our rooms was booked for the wrong night. He was patient and kind and worked hard to ensure that not only were we all able to stay but that we could even stay on the same floor.

Soon as I walked in Jaylen greeted me with a smile and was very knowledgeable and made me feel welcomed. It’s rare where you walk in a hotel where you they are attentive from the beginning to the very end of your check in process. Appreciate him Jaylen for that.

We have stayed here twice over the last year. We stay at Embassy Suites often as Hilton members. Unfortunately this hotel is slightly disappointing. Out last stay had our air conditioner leaking water on to the carpet throughout the stay. This stay, the room was looking run down. The table had scratches all over it, the wallpaper behind the bed had been glued along all the seems with areas lifting up and the seems along the ceiling jagged. The shower track seemed dirty. Although these are minor things, it does make the room feel dirty. The rest of the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were great.

The restaurant here is really good. Portions, quality of food and service. Paula was our server and was attentive, thoughtful and fun! The interior is clean and the rooms are spacious. Maria checked us in promptly. She was friendly, courteous and hospitable.
