Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Laurinburg an IHG Hotel

Area super close to restaurants, cute clean rooms, very friendly staff, Jordan was super friendly checking us in! Nice breakfast area. Easy to get to dining and convenient location off the highway. Had all amenities needed. Definitely will be back!

There aren't a lot of options in Laurinburg. I have heard the Hampton is horrible. I tried the Holiday Inn Express, but it isn't a whole lot better. Issues: Carpet is threadbare in many places. Bathroom Show upper walls are disgusting. Holes not patched, peeling wallpaper. Not sure how much mold is living up there. Shower jacuzzi tub is yellowed and outdated. General condition of the furnishings is poor. VERY worn and damaged. The good: No odors in the room other than the smoker's odor in the lobby. The front desk clerk is often outside the front door smoking. The couch in the king suite seems new. If I return to the area, I would stay at the IGH in Rockingham.

Hotel well maintained and clean. Staff was very nice. Did have an issue with the bill - got over charged and lady at the front desk was of no help and very rude when we called. Had to call corporate to get involved and finally the Manager called and assured us it would be taken care of.

I make a once yearly trip to Laurinburg, NC. Suffice it to say this years trip was infinitely better this time. Even other relatives had booked their stay at other places but chose to cancel those reservations and come to Holiday Inn Express and Suites. I found no problems with cleanliness and the interior was attractive. It would be my choice to visit this location again as it is most convenient to around town. It was a plus to have dining establishments within walking distance of it. Even though I was billed for a two night stay (a relative had reserved a “block of rooms) and I failed to show up the first night, I was content with the bill for actually staying one night. To see family and friends is more important to me than a hefty hotel charge! I will return to this establishment.

Husband & I stayed 12/30/22-1/1/2, 2 nights. After checking in a King standard room I noticed both lampshades on bedside stands were ripped in a few places. The front of the sofa was all worn. There was no mattress pad on the bed. The sheet was just put on top of mattress. I was not happy with that. After telling Front Desk the attendant he switched us to a different room just a few doors down on 3rd floor. This room appeared better. However there still was no mattress pad on bed which I do not understand for a hotel & hygiene purposes. The front desk attendant was very nice. The next day I did ask Front desk to have a mattress pad put on my bed. The front desk attendant was very kind & notified Housekeeping. He also gave us somewhat of a reduction in charge. In my opinion the room need updated alot. We also had a bit of an issue with the AC but after working with it quite a bit we did get it to work sufficiently. The bathroom commodes needed replaced. The seat was very worn & very low....New commodes which are comfort height are needed. The breakfast was good with alot of options.
