Hilton Garden Inn Gastonia

Gastonia NC Hilton Garden Inn is a definite strike OUT! I was having a medical emergency, asked to get in a room quickly so I could get my medicine and food in me. The front desk girl would not give me my Hilton Honors rate, I am Diamond, and then would not take myHilton Honors points for the room! Meanwhile I am trembling, near collapsing and my husband trying to hold me up. Had to wait 20 minutes and contact member services at Hilton to get help! Finally got in a room, but was sick all night because of their delays in my getting help. this should not happen! I would not recommend this property to anyone! They didn't seem to care and I could have had a very bad ending to all this. Go somewhere else if you want good service!

Very patient, helpful and friendly staff at this hotel. The main lobby is very welcoming if you need to sit for a minute they have comfortable couches or a bar option. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only reason I went 4 instead of 5 is the bed quality. Not sure if it's the paper thin blankets or the mattress they picked for the rooms but sleeping was not the best. Nice bed just not too comfortable. Maybe it was just me that stay.

We stayed here for one night for a family gathering. We stayed in a premium king room. I must say, this is probably the best Hilton Garden Inn we've ever stayed in. The hotel is within walking distance of many dining and shopping options. The hotel interior and exterior were spotless. I am a stickler for a clean room and always do the "rub the damp washcloth on the floor" test. It came back clean yall! The room was super clean and actually smelled clean. My husband loved the walk-in shower and the big lounge chair in the room. The rooms are very spacious. We also loved that the hotel has a mini-restaurant, a bar, a hot breakfast (for cost), an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, a laundry room, and lots of space to sit with friends, play games, or watch television. It even has an outdoor area with lounge chairs and a fire pit. The staff were super friendly. You know how sometimes you stay at a hotel and only one or two staff members are friendly? This was not the case here - all of the staff were friendly - with a special shout-out given to Josephine, Theresa, and the nighttime bartender (I hate that I didn't get her name). We plan to stay here when we return to the area. Great job Hilton! You should be proud of this establishment. They are doing it right.

This is an excellent hotel for pets. There is expansive grass areas surrounding the hotel, all very clean with little to no trash. The pet rooms are near a door and a grass area. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and an outdoor area with a fire pit. The staff will prepare food for pet parents to take back to their room. The staff is very nice, a rare thing these days. The hotel is clean and modern. The location is easy, just off I-85, but you hear no traffic noise.

It was a great hotel to stay in for our event in Gastonia. Very close to many restaurants. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. I would recommend and I would stay again if in the area. Very nice rooms and very clean.
