Tru by Hilton Raleigh Garner

The property and the staff were great. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. Check in was fast, conversation was friendly, and we were given bottles of water. Someone else behind the desk walked up during check in and they also greeted us. We were given bottles of water and cookies. Lobby had seating areas to allow people to gather but not be on top of each other. Foosball tables and tv were also there. Hallways, elevator all clean and smelled great. Room and bathroom very clean, bed was comfortable. Could have used an extra blanket ( but I could have called the front desk ) and better pillows but it was ok. Plenty of spaces to plug our phones, watches, etc. Check out was smooth and breakfast smelled amazing, we grabbed cups of coffee on the way out. Will be back. Also close to restaurants and shopping. Target, TJ Maxx and several other shops across the street!

I had called hilton honors to make a reservation in Garner, NC while visiting family. I provided all my information and credit card number. Before I headed to the hotel I called to verify my reservation as I did not receive an email. A bright voice greeted me and confirmed I did not have a reservation. I asked if there was availability and thank God there was. Linee' was at the front desk and I knew from her smile, she was the lady I had just spoken to. She was polite, friendly and professional. Thank you, Linee'. Indeed I had a trying day but your welcoming tone was a delight. Shonda

We traveled to visit family during Thanksgiving and this was our first visit to this hotel. The front desk staff were so friendly, helpful, and courteous! The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had such an amazing time that we stayed another day! Agie, and her staff were very attentive in assuring that we were satisfied with our stay!!! We will definitely return!!! Great experience!

This is my 2nd time visiting Tru. The Garner hotel us AMAZING. The staff was great and Tina was wonderful. This may sound a little cheesy, but my name popped up on the television screen....This is the spot!!!!!!!! Thanks to the staff at Tru by Hilton. See you next time.

A couple comments: this hotel is relatively new and as they put it, it is the "Hilton IN & OUT brand". Translated, the room I had was very small...no closet or drawer space...only hanging places on the wall and one short hanging bar. They acknowledge it is a "minimalist" room that panders to a certain clientele who like a quick turn around. Since I was there for 8 days, that marketing effort didn't appeal to me. However, for those who are looking for easy, quick accommodations...heck, they'll love it! Aside from that observation, I have no complaints. There was a bit of a snafu about what they charged me, but Tina addressed that and quickly made things right....I can't ask for any more courteous, faster service. Her handling that situation, alone, is reason for me to go back...I'll just ask for a different kind of room.
