NEVER STAY HERE! Me and my son went to the Duke vs. Auburn game and had a fun time. The hotel is not on level with other holiday inn's in any way. The worst part is that when we came outside to check out OUR CAR HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO. They had a ton of cameras and the management would not do anything about it. Overall this is a horrible hotel and would not recommend staying here ever again!

Smelly, stinky linen! Liar as a manager Bekhit. Do not stay at the holiday inn express in durham, nc unless you want to sleep on smelly, stinky linen. The manager will not apologize but simply swear it was changed and fresh. Than he will lie and not credit you on your bill for the nasty. Your scalp and skin may itch days later and you will be swelling someone's else sweat and funk on your clean looking sheets.

Friendly front desk staff. Bed was good. Breakfast( to the extent HI Express breakfast can be good) was good. The huge negative was being by the expressway. Disappointing they did not put more into soundproofing the rooms on that side. Even with A/C fan on high could not overcome the road noise. To make it worse the lighting over the pool could light up a stadium and my curtains would not draw all the way across the window. Needless to say, I did not get a good night's sleep.

I had read some pretty unfavorable reviews on this property, but it still sounded worth trying and I am pleased to say it was a great stay! The front desk night manager Neerag was friendly, helpful and kind. And all of the staff we encountered were as well. This hotel was clean, well kept, had a the traditional HI Express breakfast that was nice, and hot. Tho I didn't use the pool or exercise room, I stopped by and they both looked great. It was quiet, the AC worked just right (room 322), and maid service was perfect. This was a great find, well priced, and I'd stay again. Thank you!

First room we got the tv didnāt work, they gave us keys to two rooms to see if everything worked, first room smelt like something died, so we picked the second room. The door had issues, so we had to basically push our entire body into the door to get it to close. The entire night our phone in the room was ringing, brought it to the front deskās attention. The guy told us we need to get right with god, and that our god wasnāt correct and we need to follow jesus christ. Religion has no place being in the workplace, especially talking to a customer. Would not stay here again. Good breakfast tho.
