Top of the Beech Inn

Excellent location and great facility. We were treated like family by everyone. Loved it. We will be back. We enjoyed a great pizza in the restaurant and breakfast was super. Our room had a perfect view of the ski slopes. It was comfortable and clean. And the best thing is they are dog friendly.

FANTASTIC! This is an Inn with character, not a flashy hotel. About 40 family members stayed here for a local wedding in July. Customer service was excellent, rooms were lovely, quiet and clean with great beds, nice linens and towels. The restaurant food was outstanding and again excellent service. We held the rehearsal dinner here and they were very helpful and accomodating. Everyone commented on the delicious meal. Throughout the weekend the many adults and kids all enjoyed the wonderful deck and grounds. THANK YOU to the entire staff for such a great experience!

Tre inn is beautifully for Christmas. It’s has an old time charm. Beds are comfortable and room is huge. Lovely view of the winter wonderland and deer that are fed in the property. Restaurant has good food. Pleasant staff and clean.

This inn is quaint and brings back memories of the good old days! We enjoyed most of the "old-fashioned" setting, however the bathroom could be updated. We stayed on weekdays so the price was reasonable. It goes up a lot on weekends. Our room was a double queen and it was large with a nice sitting area, a working fireplace, door to small outside patio, huge windows, lovely view of mountains and deer frequently grazing outside. The room was clean, clean, clean! The beds had nice mattresses and crisp sheets. Towels were plentiful and thick. Toiletries provided. No hairdryer in room, but I noticed one at the front desk. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Super nice ladies! The manager who did not offer his name, was not as friendly, but did his job. This was the quietest place ever. There were few guests during the week, and it was totally silent at night (except for the heat/ac unit which was quite noisy). We did not eat in the onsite restaurant. There was a great refrigerator and microwave in the room, plus a nice coffee maker with coffee and supplies. Great flat-screen TV got tons of stations and great reception. Wi-fi was very good in our room at the very end of the hall, far from the lobby. The biggest problem we had was the water temperature in the shower. It had plenty of water pressure, however it was impossible to regulate the water temp. It was cold one minute, then scalding, scalding hot the next. We tried and tried to adjust it, but it kept fluctuating. I would recommend our room, except for the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at the Alpen Inn. This hotel is nothing fancy, but it is clean and very warm and cozy. The food is amazing. Steve goes above and beyond to accommodate. We will definitely be back!
