Best Western Asheville Blue Ridge Parkway

We travel quite a bit. This place made me wish we could stay longer. Room was nicely appointed. Clean. Recently renovated. Nice Pet Friendly walking area. All of the expected amenities…plus! Exceedingly friendly Staff. Absolutely the BEST VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!! (No. I do not have a financial interest in this property. :-D)

Cashier stole my cash and charged my card. Manager would not even call me back. I had to call corporate best western to get a refund. I understand stuff happens but they could at least call me back. The room was nice and the staff was friendly such a shame……………………………………………………………………

OH THIS PLACE!!! Awful - awful - awful! Do NOT stay here. They have certificates and plaques on the walls of the registration area, stating how wonderful they are in the BW universe... well, the room was fine, but there was the homeless man sleeping at the end of the row of rooms on our first night, then a different homeless man sleeping behind the wall of the pet area the next morning. Then, there was the pot smoking! All of the hotel rooms open onto the parking lot, so even though it's a non-smoking hotel, we couldn't leave our room in the evenings, for all of the pot smoke and smokers sitting just outside of their rooms. When we called the Front Desk, they stated that there was NOTHING that the could do. Then there's the music form all directions - the walls aren't well insulated, and it came from both sides and upstairs, plus out in the little pergola by the pet area. Well, if you cannot control homeless folks sleeping on the property, or the pot smokers, you sure as heck cannot control loud music. We've stayed in a lot of motels and hotels in our lives, and this is in the BOTTOM 5 of all time!

The staff is great. They are always happy, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and there were no issues with parking. The location is very good for visiting Asheville. The city is very resilient and recovering much faster than I expected.

The staff is absolutely amazing! We were there because of the hurricane. We felt like home. Celebrated Christmas with my family there and renewed my wedding vows with my wife. The staff worked with us in so many ways. Thank you Best Western for giving us a home when we didn't have one. We will definitely return.
