I am a multi-stay guest and i have reviewed this property previously with rave reviews..i checked in on 4/16/25ā¦not this time! First off at check in; I told the young lady explicitly please donāt put me near the lobby. Iāve stayed there before and had to be moved. Itās very noisy. The noise carries in this property. Itās a large property and it was a long walk to the room that she sent me to directly opposite the elevator that rings a loud ādingā each time it hits the floor. I walked all the way back down to the front desk to let her know the room was unacceptable. He attitude along with one of their guests that was checking in at the time, who offered her opinion, that I had no sense of humor ..at that point that was correct. I had none! After checking in and going to shower I noticed there was no shampoo. There was a 2 inch size āshampoo barā and one little tiny cake of soap. Also, the plumbing in the shower is so old. Itās almost impossible to regulate and very difficult to operate!! This Inn was famous for a wonderful coffee bar with fresh baked cookies. There are no more cookies and the cappuccino machine had a big sign on it that read OUT OF ORDER! I last stayed at the Fox Hollow in October 2024. I have never seen a property go downhill so rapidly. There must be new owners. I stay in the area often and I will look for an alternative. Than you.

Large clean room with efficiency kitchen. The bed was comfortable. I would have preferred softer pillows, but I slept like a stone anyway. I liked that a door separated the toilet/shower from the sink/closet area. I would have liked a door between the sink and bedroom area so that the light didn't disturb the person sleeping in bed. Our large room for two had one robe and one pair of slippers. They said they'd bring another robe, which didn't materialize. Slippers are $10 if you use them!. Aqua Panna water in room also came with a price tag. It appeared that the k-cups were complimentary. In room amenities included individual soaps, moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner, makeup remover and a safe. In the lobby, they had complimentary hot cider, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Our room was quiet, but you could clearly hear people talking in the hallway. (Please don't talk in hallways whenever you stay in a hotel)

The pillows smelled like sweat and musty. The hotel staff was nice and gave an alternate pillow set but still didnāt smell fresh. Hotel overall was clean, but new pillows or bleaching the sheets is so needed. Fine for a hotel off the highway. Easy parking

Fox Hollow Review We arrived on April 21 for what was supposed to be a 5 week stay while my apt was renovated. The project grew and so did our stay we finally checked out the second week of August. The staff was very accommodating in letting us extend our stay. A special thank you to Lesley Faraday for accommodating us, each time we needed to extend our reservations. The breakfast became boring after about the third week, the same things day and day out. Dinners also took on a pattern Monday Chicken, Tuesday Beef, Wednesday Bar B Que, although when the weather was bad it was held inside. After many weeks I found that I was able to ask for a medium burger. And finally, Thursday fish not my favorite There was always a variety of salads to be had The front desk stay was cheerful and helpful. Kudos to Chevone and James The titles in the bathroom did not match, the floor was beige and the shower grey, Houseclean was done to a minimum. Sheets and towels were changed daily About 4 weeks into our stay. I found a piece of chocolate under my nightstand, thing is I do not eat chocolate, this made me very furious. More than once we were left with no bathmat or extra toilet tissue. I travel with a small pillow and twice housekeeping was so fast to strip the bed that the pillow went to the wash with the sheets, the second time it was not returned to the following morning. This is totally inexcusable Air conditioning in the gym was out of order every continuously. The air conditioning in the main room was great but in the bedroom of our suite it was sparce. Also, who used a down quilt in the middle of the Summer. The bed was made up with an under sheet, quilt and a top sheet. All of this was very heavy on the body. We met some very nice people along the way and given the circumstances it was an interesting stay

This is a charming "New England type" Inn, very clean, good bed, and great housekeeping ...but the real stars are the staff. I required extra assistance with my room this trip and The Great Miss Dawn ran more than the extra mile for me! If you read my previous reviews I have experienced some of the best service that the hotel industry has to offer, but the effort that Dawn made to see to it that I was pleased showed the passion that she has for accommodating her guests and it is just wonderful...what a great experience. This property specialises in family events and serves a very nice complimentary breakfast. I have stayed at this property twice perviously.....JoeB mega rec!!
