Motel 6 Schenectady NY

the people that own this dump are the poorest excuse for a human being I have ever met I asked to use there bathroom was told it was out of order I am elderly and told them it was a emergency they still refused Iam sure they dont urinate in the woods could hold it no longer I drove around back and urinated in the gravel a man came charging out the back and threatened to beat me up I am 75 he looked to be late fortys got in my face and would not let me get in my car Itold him if he laid a hand on me he would go to jail and he finally let me go. What kind of dirtbag would refuse to let a elderly man use a bathroom in his place of business? THESE people are walking garbage.

The hotel room was dirty. The bathroom floor was not clean and there were hairs on it. There were hairs in the sink as well. The toilet rocked. Not very soundproof. The bed was ok and the TV worked and they didn’t charge us for our dogs. Vending machines were out of order. Not convenient for dinner late on a Sunday night.

This place is a nightmare. Loud truck running in the parking lot for the last 3 hours. And people partying outside my window. When I asked to move to a different room I was told that would not be possible and I could not get a refund. On top of the noise the room is dirty. The carpet is filthy and the bathroom is not clean. Do not stay here!!!

I travel across the US 6 months out of the year and stay in many hotels. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Room I was in was very dirty, ground dirt in the tub and many long hairs. I am bald so not my hair. Ceiling above shower had cracks and was leaking white powder. Floors were dirty and inside hotel room door was caked in dirt. Several rooms had chairs outside of the rooms and small BBQ's. Looked almost like a homeless shelter than a hotel. To top it off price was $90 night. I was here 7 nights and it was very scary. I asked to change rooms but staff said hotel was booked. I counted 10 cars in the lot the entire week, not so booked.

pros: front desk reception was friendly wi fi worked well plenty of parking large room cons: rude housekeeping lady too much highway noise cleanliness could sure use improvement people that may live on site are loud and inconsiderate AC unit did not cool room very well not a very convenient location..no restaurants or stores nearby
