Amazing value.Beautiful & spacious suite on the river. Easy check in/out. I especially appreciate the quiet in the morning (meaning we did not hear or see the cleaning crew). The location is really convenient to Union College. The internet isn’t fast, but it’s good enough.

All went well, TV controler was hard to figure out. Also, shower curtain seemed short, water sprayed out of the bottom, room 119. All else was fine, good breakfast. Back door to Terrace Resturant was locked You need to add jacuzzi tubs for huge bubble baths

Very friendly and polite staff, Large very clean rooms. Fabulous food at the restaurant, definitely will be back again. We stayed there New Years Eve for an event in the attached banquet hall. Everyone at the NYE party was very pleased with the hotel accommodations and staff .

We stayed at the Homewood Suites on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day while visiting family for the holidays. The location was convenient. The hotel renovations were quite nice, especially in the breakfast area and lobby. Our room (king suite) was clean and comfortable. The selection of breakfast foods was varied and appealing to our tastes. An attendant made sure the buffet was well supplied. We did not use the fitness room, but saw other guests there. As a Hilton Honors member I was able to use the digital app to: chat with the front desk, control the television and check-out. The digital entry (room key) via the app was inconsistent, so I requested a key card. Unfortunately, the app is not yet fully functional at this location (e.g., controlling the climate and lights). Our only disappointment was that the heat was not working. Neither the app nor the thermostat was able to turn on the heat. I contacted the staff via the chat and was told a maintenance person would address the problem at 9:00 a.m. (on Christmas morning), and then later told that maintenance would not be available until the following day (our check-out day). Limited service on a holiday is understandable, but it was extremely disappointing that the staff did not offer to remedy the situation (e.g., move to another room or offer a discount for our inconvenience). Fortunately, my husband noticed a circuit breaker panel on the wall in our room and "rebooted" the circuit for the HVAC unit. The heat immediately turned on. It ended up being a simple fix, but by us not the staff. I was disappointed that the staff did not follow up with us to make our stay more comfortable. Tip for future guests: Booking a "river view" room at additional cost is not worthwhile particularly in the winter. In spite of the heating issue, I would try staying here again.

Stayed here recently for business. Pros: Very nice staff, very nice breakfast, rooms are clean Cons: Hallway rugs were rather dirty and there were people (maybe staff) doing drugs in the parking lot both at night and in the morning when I left. Rather sketchy. Be aware of your surroundings when staying here.
