We chose this hampton inn because of location and price. The hampton in we usually stay at in new paltz was 15,000 more points for the same night. Glad we decided to drive the 24 minutes to get to this hampton inn. Poughkeepsie hampton inn is a winner!!! Very nice hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable temperature. Pool area had a hot tub!! Breakfast had a lot of options- easy to find something we liked. Good coffee.

Our experience was wonderful! We got a room upgrade at no extra cost . The breakfast was especially exquisite. The staff was very friendly and polite. We loved our stay here. The pool is very nice with a hot tub. Good location close to everything. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet rooms. The dependably good breakfast that I've always gotten at a Hampton Inn. Efficient service. Comfortable bed. Good night sleep. Even had a night light in the bathroom area. Also had pants hangers and good working frig with freezer.

Check in was good, staff was polite and friendly, was not recognized as a Diamond Member, room was clean and comfortable, fitness center was good, they had a business center and it was very usefeul, breakfast was good, location of hotel was good. Very good stay and very accommodating.

As a motorcoach driver, I have stayed here many times over the years. The positive is that my room this time seems to have received a renovation which was an improvement over our past visits. However, a renovation does not ever successfully take care of all issues with a hotel property like the small size of the rooms and the old, very slow elevator. I do not eat breakfast at hotels so I have no comment on that. My interaction with the girls at the front desk made me feel more like I was at a WalMart front help desk versus any professional employee responsible for customer service in the hotel industry. Bottom line, if you are looking for a budget place to sleep, itâs sufficient. If you want to pay a little more for a much higher, better hotel experience then you should try the brand new built Marriott Residence Inn 7 miles North on Route 9. Awesome new hotel!
