My first room still had a washrug and soap that was used left in the shower .... My second room had a bug possibly cockroach come out of the microwave after I warmed something up... I had to throw away my $30 door dash order ... Then there was a similar bug crawling on the mirror. I also had no toilet paper on my first room. They need actual housekeepers or cleaners, absolutely DISGUSTING. Do not recommend zero stars

1)Heating inside room barely worked 2)Poor Security. a)Patio door didn’t lock properly was wedged closed with piece of light metal b)Room door had large gap at bottom which meant it could be easily compromised if you knew how. 3)Room was dirty 4)Brown fluid discharge from bath tap which made me hesitant to use shower. 5)No tissues in bathroom/room 6)Rubbish wasn’t cleared from bins in room on daily basis. 7)Security in building was poor as anybody could walk in unchallenged. Front desk was barely ever staffed. Possibly the worst red roof I’ve stayed in.

The hallway is dingy. Rooms are stark with no pictures on the walls. Bathroom needs updating. Carpets have been replaced with flooring. Beds were comfortable. Closed the pool the day we arrived while weather was still warm. Way overpriced for the quality of the place. Front desk staff dealt with customers with food in her mouth. Toilet clogged and had to change rooms at 10pm.

Checked in on Thanksgiving night. Insects crawling around on the floor plus various items in room damaged, asked to be moved, moved upstairs into a room without working heating and a faucet that had rusty brown/red water coming out of it. A comment was made by reception that they would have to cancel somebody else’s stay as they were full? The next morning the owner didn’t believe that I was in that room until I showed them the numbered key card Moved into a third room where the ground floor patio door wasn’t secure. No coffee was offered in the morning. The hotel was insecure as the front desk was unstaffed 95% of the time and there were numerous side entrances that were not locked. Don’t let the clean look of the entrance fool you into thinking it’s a good place to stay.

I'm very recently homeless, for the first time in my life. Erie County Social Services (DSS), who apparently have a contract with Red Roof Inn, Niagara Falls, arranged for me to stay here four days, and possibly longer. According to their own website, Red Roof Inn, Niagara Falls, is pet friendly. However, when a friend showed up with my beloved cat Freddy, they were refused entry. After they had left to driveback to Buffalo, I called the front desk, requesting to speak to the manager. Before saying a word, when the manager took the phone, she stated defensively that while yes, generally they are a pet friendly hotel, that is not included in their contract with DSS. It is bad enough being homeless, a very recent first in my 59 years. Being deprived my wonderful cat during this tumultuous time of frightening uncertainty, and being made to feel stigmatized, has left me entirely bereft. I hope no one will want to support a business that surreptitiously discriminates against someone and their cat.
