I decided on a 'treat myself' moment and stayed here despite having lived in NY for a decade and having lots of places where I usually crash. I cashed in my Chase points and booked a night over the weekend. The front-of-house staff was very, very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. Was it worth all my points? I'm not sure. I had one of the most awkward moments with the bartender, who, after growing up in the service industry and working at a bar down the road for most of my adult life, ruined the entire stay for me. He was extremely rude and demanding. I had to walk out as I felt uncomfortable being in his presence after he berated me. The whole experience was very strange. I would recommend the Beekman Hotel as an alternative with a warmer vibe.

Super vibey hotel, great accommodations, delicious food, perfect part of the city to get anywhere easily. The staff is phenomenal!! I will forever remember Lee in making my stay memorable! This will for sure be my #1 place to book in the city for future trips!

Had some last minute work to do and the cafe at the standard nyc was totally perfect. Experience started off strong with Maria helping me find an outlet and even went above and beyond to plug it in. I was by the door and Albert was great keeping the air circulating by continuously propping the door to the outside open - guests kept shutting it closed! Fantastic for the first nice day in nyc in awhile. Last Alyssa made me a great Dr Feelgood which was awesome!!! Great pulsating music too - kept me concentrated!

Very dirty room and stained wall. Housekeeping service was very bad, did not clean the toilet or even vacuum the room floor. Mattress was disgusting. We booked based on other reviews but unfortunately didnât work out and we were unsatisfied

Absolutely spotless, couldnât fault a thing. Fantastic views out to the city. Fair price for the location. Great vibe about the place. Very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay here so much and will be recommending it to others. 10 out of 10 for sure.
