Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Times Square South an IHG Hotel

Staying in NYC 2 nights prior to a Cruise. Picked this hotel due to it's closeness to amenities and points of interest. We were within walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit. Our room was a decent size and nicely appointed. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They had a good sized breakfast room with a nice variety of breakfast items. I would definitely recommend and would stay again myself.

The staff makes this place. Very nice, helpful, and the breakfast was very well taken care of. That had to be the best breakfast staff I’ve ever had at a hotel. The rooms are typical of NYC hotels in that they are not large. But they were clean and comfortable. The location is close to a subway station and it’s really convenient to many sites. We had a fantastic time.

Smallish rooms but very clean and comfortable. Great location with a ton of social options next door and across the street. Only a 6-8 min walk from Times Square. They greeted me with a nice goody bag filled with snacks, cookies, waters and candies. This is my second stay at this Holiday Inn Express for a work trip and will plan to return next time I am needed in midtown.

Solid location and amenities. Breakfast buffet was great and a huge money saver. Bed wasn’t the best and the hotel showed some wear but otherwise a good option for NYC. Safe neighborhood and walkable to quite a bit including MSG, Penn Station and Hudson Yards.

we had a very positive experience with the front desk staff - Sandra & Louis - on two steerage occasions. They were both friendly, helpful, polite, and service oriented. I would say the same for the breakfast staff managing the little breakfast area. They too were friendly and service oriented… and the breakfast area was clean and organized. All of this made the satay a pleasant one. Thanks.
