Moderne Hotel

Small hotel a short walk from Columbus Circle, Central Park, and many midtown subway lines. Clean room and helpful staff. The neighborhood can be noisy and bustling during the day, but our room was quiet and comfortable at night. Thanks to Majid for a warm welcome and great service!

The hotel building is under major construction which will not be completed till 2026. We were awakened by jackhammers at 7:15am The hotel boasts danish and coffee till 10:00 am. All pastries were gone by 9:00 for 2 of the three days we were there They only have one (older) elevator. On the second day of our stay it was not working. We had to walk down 7 flights of stairs. To top it all off. I prepaid for my 3day stay (almost $900) yet they had the nerve to charge my card an additional $28 per day calling it a “Residency fee”. When i asked about it I was told it was to cover “amenities such as free bottles of water in the room, use of the gym (THREE IS NO GYM!!) Avoid this noisy, over priced hotel. Shame on them!

An absolute gem! Great location. The hotel is very close to Central Park and many other attractions in the city. The suite was great and had a patio. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Majid and Melvin for impeccable service and assisting in getting a car to the airport for me.

A cozy little hotel 5 minutes from Times Square. We loved it even though we were unfortunate to have an active construction site at the hotel. Pastries in the morning and all day access to guest lounge with coffee machine were a welcome bonus, while Jerry made us always feel happy when having greet us at the door. Would definitely come back again.

A great location! Clean, friendly staff, well appointed rooms and comfy beds and pillows. Water on the nightstand, coffee and pastry in the morning. We were guests of the day and received a free room upgrade, chocolates and sparkling water. There is a parkade right next door. We will definitely be back and this is truly a gem in the crown.
