Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York an IHG Hotel

This is my nth time staying at this hotel, and every time, it just keeps getting better than the last. I appreciate the front desk (kudos to Lashawn and the other lady whom I embarrassingly don't remember the name of), who greeted me early in the day and kindly recommended where I could work while waiting for most shops to open. While the lobby wasn't particularly huge, and some residents were waiting to check out, the staff ensured everything went smoothly and in order. Kudos to the manager, AJ, who I contacted before this stay regarding my room preference. He got me a quiet, spacious, and probably one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. I was able to work while taking the much-needed rest during this one-night stay. I understand that most people are concerned about the bar also located in the building. Still, I can also assure you that the staff and management truly went beyond my expectations and made all the necessary arrangements to minimize any disturbance during my stay. I believe that's what the top-notch customer service is.

I'm used to hotel rooms in NYC being the size of postage stamps. The room was spacious, the view was incredible, comfy bed, AMAZING water pressure, the decor and vibe were so NYC, and the staff could not have been more helpful and wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Had an lovely stay at this hotel last week from being greeted by the happiest man ever 👍🏼 We had a room for 3 people we had 2 big beds with the best pillows ever ( what make are they please I need them ) Room and beds made every day very clean lovely friendly staff 👍🏼 Yes their is a night club we where on the 10th floor so just wore earplugs👍🏼 Amazing view at night from the roof top bar 👍🏼 All together a great stay for me my husband and our daughter Thank you ☺️

Milta and the team were incredible, super helpful and attended to anything we needed - when we needed to switch rooms they were able to facilitate, helped with late checkout when possible and went above and beyong to make sure that everything is to our satisfaction. Best team!

Dirty room & bathroom Peeling paint from ceiling Holes in the wall No room service if you don’t do QR code, only available for limited breakfast items if you do No restaurant, only a bar Breakfast included in room rate is a sham, breakfast at the bar with handful of cafe items, they give you a $15 voucher, which is not enough to get a coffee and a breakfast item, so you end up paying twice for breakfast, once in the room rate, and once at the cafe where they make you pay anything over $15 Bathroom flooded each time you take a shower because the shower door is not keeping the water in, and the shower is so small that you cannot no splash water out (and this in a large suite, so not sure how it would play out in a room) There is a fridge but full of their items for sale that are charged automatically if you move them (you don’t know how much though because they couldn’t bother to put a price list for the refrigerator items), so the only space left in the fridge for your items is barely enough for two cans of soda (good luck trying to put a bottle of champagne there) Overall, good location, nice building, nice view (especially from the suite’s terrace) but rooms in need of basic maintenance, too minimal a service to call it the “urban oasis” they claim to be, definitely not worth the 4.5 starts they pretend to have on their web site, and certainly not worth the money
