The hotel is very clean, modern and the staff are all very friendly. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had a double room with twin double beds and found the room to be very large by New York standards. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because there were a number of excellent places close by and wanted to try different things each day. The hotel is in a great location whether you are in New York on vacation or work. The 33rd Street subway station is literally a few feet away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.

Very well equipped and roomy accessible room. We requested a last-minute change to a room accommodating my husband's wheelchair, and they were able to do it. Room was very comfortable and the bathroom was outfitted with well-placed grab bars.

This hotel was the perfect choice to help celebrate two birthdays and introduce them to New York City! Our family reserved two rooms (a double and a king); we had called ahead to see if they could do anything special for the double "birthday" room. What a wonderful surprise for our birthday girls to find their room full of balloons, streamers, and a sweet, signed card from the entire staff!! :) This hotel is a great location in midtown Manhattan with a subway station close by. All the staff were friendly and helpful; there was extra security staff at night; and no lines for the elevators. Most importantly, our rooms were Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet! Special thanks to Mr. Jean, Ms. Tia, Ms. Arlene and all the others who helped make our trip a memorable birthday celebration!

This place is below average. We had 2 major water leaks during our 3 night stay, one of which ran through the elevator shafts and flooded the lobby. The rooms and bathrooms are very small compared to other places we’ve stayed in NYC before. Not very comfortable and the ambiance is sorely lacking. Elevators take forever too so if you stay, try to book something near the lower floors. The staff is still sitting behind glass partitions due to post covid jitters or something else. It didn’t feel very welcoming quite frankly. It’s not the worst place in the world you can stay but we wouldn’t choose to come back here. There’s a bunch of other places to choose from in NYC so look around a bit more and consider something else.

The Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a security person at the entrance and elevators have keyed floors. The decor is modern and comfortable and there’s a convenience store in the lobby with self check out. There’s a restaurant/sports bar attached with lobby entrance called The Ainsworth. I was expecting a typical hotel bar but it was full of work place happy hour crowd. Very loud and standing room only.
