Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa

My daughter and my future son n law had their proposal engagement over this past weekend At Gurneys, their experience was nothing but the absolute best planned by Ginny ! Ginny was so supportive in all the right decisions and made the moment wonderful! She not only planned an amazing event , she also recommended a wonderful videographer and photographer as well! For a memorable lifetime! I look forward to having Ginny plan future events for me and will highly recommend her as well!

Great hotel on a wonderful beach! The rooms with patios are wonderful. They are in the midst of construction but it did not interfere with our stay. Fire pit area , pool , gym and hot tub all wonderful. Great place for family n friends to visit. However if u can’t walk steps it’s not the correct hotel.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at Gurney’s Montauk. It is so relaxing and beautiful. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I went for a birthday getaway and I didn’t want to leave. Yes it is undergoing renovations but it is off season so you would expect things like this to happen. This however, didn’t take away from my relaxing experience. Our room was very clean and the room attendant was super helpful when we needed extra things. The girl who checked me in was super sweet and provided excellent customer service and also our waiter at The Dune restaurant. I sadly don’t remember their names but wanted to note that. I truly can’t wait to be back!

Where to start? My wife and I have been coming to Gurneys Montauk for 3 years and are consistently blown away by the property and the staff. While the grounds and rooms are stunning, the people there are what make it truly special. Everyone from the front desk to bartenders go out of their way to make you feel at home. I want to say a SPECIAL thank you to Ginny- who has made Gurneys such a memorable place for us. She helped me with an engagement near Gurneys 2 years ago, and EVER SINCE has gone above and beyond to make following visits special. I have never had a hospitality experience like this and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back again and again. We love the Gurneys crew!! Of course, I cant end the review without mentioning the beautiful views and entire setup. It truly feels like you are in a completely different world at Gurneys- amazing views of the ocean and beach. 100/10 experience. Would recommend for families, couples, anyone!!

Gurneys has no consideration for their guests whatsoever. Directly in front of our accommodation a bulldozer was pushing sand, beeping, and clanking as if it was falling apart for the entire day. Nobody in management cared a damn. They charge exorbitant rates and have no sense of customer service at all.
