Red Roof Inn Rochester Henrietta

Roach Motel ,paid a week in advance so couldn't be refunded. They offered to give me todays back but only gave me one! ROACHES WERE CRAWLING ON ME IN BED!!!!!!!!! Have video to prove this stay away from this place.. they switched my room twice and it was the same experience in every room!

I have stayed at the Red Roof Inn often when visiting family in Rochester. I have a cat and my family is allergic. I was assigned a room which had not been cleaned. I returned to the front desk and was given a different room quickly and politely. The new room was clean and had plenty of towels. The room had an adjustable heater, a dresser, a comfortable bed and fluffy pillows, a desk, chairs, a television, refrigerator, coffeemaker and coffee etc. The blow dryer didn't work but it wasn't a big deal to me. I brought soap as I like it better than what is supplied. The tub was old but functioned correctly. I stayed in September 2024, also and that was fine except for some guy hanging outside his room mouthing off. I stayed at Christmas about 4 years ago. I think the key wasn't working right but the night manager printed a new one immediately to fix the problem. The low price allows me to stay when needed. Thanks to the management for their service.

Property advertises being one of the best 100% non-smoking accommodations in the area. This is 100% not true. The rooms are non-smoking but in order to get into the lobby reception area you have to walk through a cloud of smoke from cigarettes and Vapes. And you need to walk along a balcony to get to your room and everyone is standing outside of their rooms on the balcony smoking. So the property is not 100% smoke-free. This is important if you're allergic to cigarette smoke

TJ T 1/5 just now on Google I don't usually complain, but this is more than I can take. SEE PICTURES Rude people including reception, floors & desk sticky, pillows thin with lumps, can't get to reception/lobby or rooms without breathing clouds of smoke in this "100% smoke free property", dumpster trash smells greet you all around property from neighboring businesses, dead bugs on floor, iron covered in melted plastic & leaked on floor, said they would bring me 1 when they went out to turn lights on for the night, but never did, room phone doesn't work so had to keep walking the length of 2 buildings to get to reception to get help, dd cleaned up leak from iron with towel. Only 2 towels, 2 wash cloths & 1 hand towel in room. Reception REFUSED to replace it!!! They said at 6 pm housekeeping is locked & they cant get anything until 730 am. Guess I use hand towel to dry off after shower. If your child vomits on bed guess you sleep in it til housekeeping the next day! I see they have replies to the MANY MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS, but not once do I see that they offer to do anything to make it right. Wish there were other options but this was the only one in the area for this weekend. I booked a month ago. Stay home, DO NOT come here
