The Harbor Front Inn

They were doing renovation but did not alert guests. Clearly this renovation had been planned well in advance. There was no hot water and their response was we just heard this from other guests too but there’s nothing we can do Any hotel that treats guests like this without any apologies or compensation does not deserve your business

Great location to area attractions and walking distance to area restaurants and bars. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Balcony is very nice to have wine and cheese and enjoy watching the ferry boats travel back and forth to shelter island!

Great location, clean room, nothing fancy but had a good sized room, small balcony overlooking harbor. If you’re a light sleeper the harbor front rooms are directly across from the Shelter Island ferry that runs early morning until late night. Not super loud but it’s something to consider. Would definitely stay again.

I took my husband away for his birthday. We wanted somewhere close yet, different. The Harbor Front Inn was the perfect choice. We had a harbor view room with a balcony. It was perfect! The king size bed was very comfortable. I loved sitting on the balcony watching the ferry. The front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful. I was thrilled that breakfast was included and there was even a staff member assigned to the breakfast area that was able to assist with any needs. The hotel is in the center of town making it convenient to leave the car and walk everywhere. Only disappointment was the $25 fee to park a night. I recommend this hotel!

We had a relaxing getaway at the harbor front inn. The hotel staff members were welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot (it was very cold outside). The location is convenient for walking around town. We parked for free in the municipal lot nearby and it was convenient enough.
