Wingate by Wyndham Ellicottville

My family and I were skiing and stayed for our first two nights at Tamarack club. However, we decided to stay a third night. When Tamarack quoted me $240, we decided to pack up and move to wingate. It was only $128 plus tax and was well worth the move. Super clean and spacious room. Excellent breakfast, too. We will return.

we stayed this week at the Wingate. We had a queen suite (2 adults, 2 teens + dog), with pull out couch which was very roomy to accommodate everyone including our small pooch. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was great, especially the waffle station and hot eggs/sausages. My wife says the coffee was excellent as well. For those with pets, its an easy walk out the front door, to the side of the building to let your pet do their business. Also for those with EV vehicles, there is are public charging station, 100 yards from the hotel, which was a huge bonus! The pool is good size and at a great temperature , and the hot tub is perfect to use after a long day on the slopes or venturing around town. Our room had a kitchenette with bar fridge, microwave and dishwasher. My only comment would be, with those amenities a few dishes and cutlery would have been appreciated. I'm not sure why there is a dishwasher in a room, but no dishes /or cutlery to put in the dishwasher to clean them. If you have a suite, bring your own cutlery and paper plates. Graham

Great location in Ellicotteville! Walkable to downtown area for dinners, shopping or evening fun and quick drive to the slopes. Great lobby area for our group to hang out in evenings to have pot luck dinner. Breakfast is perfect before a day of skiing.

Love the staff here. Very Clean rooms. Best location in town. Definitely recommend for business or pleasure. Didn’t use the pool however it looked nice as did the gym. Nice sitting area with tables if you want to order takeout food. Parking is free and safe.

★★★★★ Perfect location for a getaway! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, with Holiday Valley and HoliMont just minutes away. Having a Tops right across the street is super convenient. The pool and hot tub are great for unwinding after skiing or golf, and the free breakfast before 10 AM is a nice bonus. Service is amazing! Clean, comfortable, and you can’t beat the location!
