In town for a baseball tourney, Let's just start with . . . The Bed was awful. Felt like sleeping on a cardboard box full of baseballs Very thin Comforter and no blankets avail. Good thing the AC didn't work 3 Night Stay, no one ever made up the room, took out the garbage, picked up the garbage from the hall. Was told during check-in that there was daily service. Each day when I called to request linens or a service I was met with fake surprise that it hadn't been done and someone would bring a full compliment of towels Single handle faucet in bathroom did not function AC Unit was not cold Vending machines were empty Breakfast (while free) was terrible. Except the make it yourself waffles, they were good Television was tiny and picture was very dim Door did not shot tight Very loud in the ground floor room from above, outside next door Won't ever stay here again, and can't recommend it at all

Hi Paddy, ( I’m told you’re someone who could possibly address my concerns ) I’d like to let you know of one of the most scary, terrifying incidents of my life that I had at the Clarion Suites and Inns. I travelled for 30 plus hours, checked in post 11 PM only to be assigned the last room on the corridor considering there was no baggage help, this itself was a huge task. The key did not work. I had to go all the way back, dragging my bags all through the entire corridor, and to the lobby. I was then assigned another room - THE NIGHTMARE begins. I walk to the room, open the door. Hear a rustling noise and convince myself that I was possibly hearing a noise. I proceeded further inside the room to figure where the light could possibly be as I didn’t find a key card light saver. I could still hear the rustling noise and obviously was petrified by then. I then see in a dark room a gentleman sitting up on the bed. I screamed is absolutely shock OH MY GOD. Ran out with my heavy bags. I didn’t know how i was to react . Headed all the way again to the room . The gentleman at the desk who I presume was a duty manager apologised. Yet brought in some Humour saying he’s assigning me the first room on the corridor - 100 and that if anything did happen - assuring me I was close enough to the reception counter. I was just so exhausted, traumatised and just told him that I really questioned my own safety. I walk inside the room only to find spiders in the washroom ( I have a video of this ) and the room just smelt horrible . It was a handicapped room that I presume wasn’t used for a while. To cut a long story short I attempted to sleep with all the lights on - obviously I was in shock and horror of what had gone down. I didn’t sleep all night . Went every hour to check if my door was closed and kept my heavy bags against my door just incase someone else did attempt walking in to my room. Also the side doors that lead to the room corridor on both sides were open all night. If this doesn’t question the safety of a single lady traveller I don’t know what else would. I asked to speak to someone senior in the morning that I checked out ( 11th June ) and was told to call the next day and speak to you. I’ve been having a very hectic work week as I’m here on an official visit but this has remained a scarring memory. I felt so unsafe and petrified that if it wasn’t in the middle of the night I would have surely checked out immediately . Understand this was my first time in a new country and I was petrified. No one from the hotel offered to call and even do any sort of service recovery or at the very least just check on my experience. I would really like to know what you would do to compensate the whole night of lost sleep, an absolutely unsafe experience of a single lady traveller . It’s appalling that with such safety measures a brand like yours can even operate. While i expressed my concern another gentleman also did mention that he has noticed the side doors that lead to the room was open all night. I would like a serious escalation and acknowledgment of my issues. I am waiting to hear from you . Best Regard, Darshini Ashok

Look elsewhere!!! Hotel is old, filthy and unsafe. Exterior Doors are cable tied open so you don't even need a card to enter. Why would you do that? Maybe thats why the entire place stunk like marijuana.

Spacious room, king sized bed and a jacuzzi tub... aaah living. This was a very nice hotel. It is definitely an older hotel and could use some updates. It is not bad and definitely a very nice stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. Some issues for older guests include no elevator so make sure to ask for a 1st floor room if stairs are a concern.
