Tru By Hilton Syracuse Camillus

Very clean property, friendly staff, and great amenities. Parking lot is well lit, plenty of spots, and the location is close to food and the highway. Breakfast in the morning had various options. Great overall stay. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay here over Thanksgiving weekend. Good food, and the room was very clean, which is much appreciated. There were a few minor hiccups with the room (TV screen had a line through it, we couldn't get into our room the second and third nights and had to get new keys each night.) We pointed those out to management in email, and they responded. Would definitely return.

the hotel is like a ghost hotel, no one to respond , no one picks up the phone. the only time we saw some staff was in the morning breakfast area. the pancake machine was not working. the eggs were stale, coffee and hot water cold, i complained to the manager, she reduced my room rate by 20 dollars for the inconvenience. when we checked out we told the lady at the front desk we are checking out and asked for the folio, but she said no need , but we get a message from the bank we are charged for another night ,without any reason. this is not ethical, not expected from a hilton !!!

After long drive we arrived. We were told no rooms available . We did have reservations. Reservation number etc on phone. We were told overbooked by Expedia or some such nonsense. Seemed a bit odd … fishy. They simply shrugged shoulders and told us to go to another Tru by Hilton. Same thing happened to couple with us. We ended up rooming together at the other Tru. They were very accommodating as best they could. Still not sure how this is allowed to happen. Expedia or Tru ? Disappointing for sure.

The hotel was conveniently located just off the highway and was very clean. The gym looked great and the room was a decent size. The staff were fantastic - super helpful and friendly while we there and then again after I left a valuable at the hotel. They located it within a day and shipped it back to me. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area!
