Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo Amherst

We stay at many different Hilton hotels throughout NY and PA. This hotel does not live up to the Hilton standard. We opted to stay here over a nearby Hampton Inn thinking this would be an upscale experience since it was almost double the price over the Hampton where we stayed many times before and had great experiences. This hotel is clean and the front desk staff were great as well. That was the good. Here is the not so good, the room had no cable TV, I suspect it has been out for awhile judging by how old the notice on the front desk appeared to be. The main issue was the breakfast, quick simply was the worst I have had at any Hilton hotel, period. Eggs were dry, tasteless and lukewarm (I was one of the first people there when it opened). There was only a few pieces of dried out bacon that looked left over from previous days and reheated. There was pulled pork that looked very dry, didn’t dare touch that. Breakfast opened up late then the breakfast attendant promptly made a plate for themselves and disappeared. No waffles, the oatmeal was stone cold and uncooked, no tea selection, hardly any bread selection, butter was a communal dish with a shared knife (unhygienic). It was obvious the hotel breakfast attendant takes no pride in their job. I will not stay here again.

this hotel stay was awful, worst I have ever experienced. issues with door lock, had to go down to front desk from 5th floor to front desk to get assistance with room entry, TV's not working for a day and a half, terrible breakfast-same each day- no more waffles- hotel old and run down- needed a renovation 5 years ago. Limited to what I could list, but there were lots more items to list. please find another hotel close by if staying in the area, do yourself a favor.

Everything went great! Requested a roll away bed and it was in our room waiting for us when we arrived! Great service place is very clean zero issues!!! Will be returning for sure! Pool was very clean breakfast was ok had some odd ball stuff like a taco!

Great clean good gym fully stocked pool great breakfast we had diy breakfast burrito bar very good 🩷🩷 the gym was super fun and clean great equipment the staff were kinds and helped with ever thing we needed very friendly had a good time kids loved it

Stayed over New Years Eve. Enjoyable. Comfortable room. Pool and spa excellent Breakfast better then many othernplaces. Good variety day-to-day and well attended. Liz was awesome at breakfast keeping food well stocked.
