Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Airport

We were in Buffalo this past weekend for the Montreal Canadiens vs Buffalo Sabres hockey game and booked a hotel through Hotwire and ended up getting the Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Airport. When we checked in we found out the pool was closed for renovation even though we had specified with Hotwire that we wanted a hotel with a (functioning) pool since we were travelling with our two young children who were looking forward to going swimming. Obviously this wasn't the hotel's fault and the nice lady working the desk said that third party companies had been notified about this. Thankfully she was able to let us use the pool at a neighbouring hotel that was affiliated with the Hilton Garden Inn which averted a major disaster of having some extremely disappointed kiddos. I still complained to Hotwire about this afterwards for the inconvenience since they should've given us a hotel with a functioning pool, and to their credit they did give me a credit towards a future hotel stay. Having said all that, this was a nice hotel to stay at you could tell the room we had on the 5th floor had been renovated recently with new carpet and such. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. I'm sure it will be even nicer better when all the renovations are complete. All in all a good stay and the Canadiens won the hockey game too!

I needed a place to stay for one night as I dropped my mother-in-law off back at home in Buffalo. I saw that this had good reviews this location and I picked it. Upon check-in, Wendy was very helpful. Went upstairs to the room second floor and the room was adequate. However, it needs a lot of attention. For one the microwave doesn’t work even though it turns on it does not heat up the food. Lotta little decor trim needs help. The room had a stale odor and I didn’t change the room because I only hear one night. I did go back down to the desk and ask Nguyen about my rate because I thought it included breakfast. She asked another coworker, some lady who had a cast on her hand And that coworker directed her to the correct coding. I asked for some assistance from maintenance in regards to my luggage because the handle came apart. Paul came out with his tools and basically saved the day so that the handle could not harm myself for others as the luggage was trying to limp back home. The staff are nice. The rooms need work.

This was the friendliest and most convenient hotel I have stayed in in such a long time AND it's an airport hotel! My expectations were low - I booked it on proximity to the airport. Man oh man I will keep coming back here! The front desk staff were ridiculously friendly and the shuttle driver - unreal. He literally got to us in less than 5 mins at the airport. He even had the heat on for us since it was sooo cold outside. Best surprise hotel experience. Amazing job!

My daughters and I stayed here for a Pentatonix Concert. Getting to the KeyBank Center in Buffalo was easy. Although the concert area was congested, it took us 40 minutes but without concert congestion the drive might be 20 minutes. General The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. The very positive staff members seem to be a well coordinated team who work hard to help guests feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. The beds are high with not- too- hard and not-too-soft mattresses. Even in cold November there were plants outside that displayed beautiful red flowers. The attention to landscaping was prominent. Though not a smoker, it was evident the smoking area outdoors was neat and pleasant. The landscaping added interest and unexpected pleasure to our stay. Pool The clear pool was reasonably warm with plenty of towels and seats in the pool area. The pool goes to a depth of 3+- 6 ft I think. It offers a bit more depth than many hotel pools. I did not try the hot tub. Breakfast Breakfast is available but is not included in the room price. but as a Hilton rewards member I received an offer for a discount on the breakfast. It is off the menu or a buffet with made to order items such as an omelette. Depending on how hungry travelers are, the buffet can be a good deal for anyone wanting a filling meal. As another reviewer mentioned, the veggies in the buffet are not to be missed! I don’t recall the printed prices, but think the range was $10-20. Stay again? Yes!

We stayed at this Inn two nights upon arriving and leaving the Buffalo area. The staff was friendly and helpful including the desk personnel, shuttle drivers and café workers. Particular praise for Ann and Ted and for Rich who made sure breakfast was what we wanted and that we were happy with our food. Beds were comfortable. A good-sized table was provided for computer use. Outlets were plentiful and Wi-fi decent. The dresser had 3 large drawers and there was a coffee station. A sitting area was available in the spacious room. Beds were comfortable. Several food and souvenir items are available for purchase in the lobby. As this is an airport hotel (with quick response from 24-hour courtesy shuttle), there wasn’t much of a view from room, but we were there for convenience and not sight-seeing. A bit more lighting was needed in the bathroom including a light over the tub. As a former teacher, I feel compelled to give 5 circles (an A+) only to amazing hotels, so don't misconstrue the 4 circles as I would totally stay here again if I return to Buffalo.
