Courtyard Buffalo Downtown Canalside

This was my first time staying at this Marriott property, and I can confidently say it was a 10 out of 10! When visiting Buffalo, I usually stay at one of the other Marriott locations. However, due to logistical reasons, I ended up at the Courtyard on this trip—and I’m glad I did. This will now be my new “go-to” whenever I’m in the Buffalo area. The hotel is in a prime location, easily accessible from the interstate. Numerous attractions and dining options are within walking distance, and public transportation is readily available, with a rail station just steps from the hotel entrance. Parking was also very convenient, with reasonably priced on-site options and a few slightly cheaper off-site alternatives within walking distance. The front desk staff member who greeted me was outstanding. She checked me in efficiently, answered all my questions, provided a thorough overview of the amenities, and consistently checked in on me whenever I passed through the lobby. The room was spacious, modern, quiet, and impeccably clean. Comfort was never an issue. The hotel's common areas were equally impressive—bright, modern, and meticulously maintained. Simply put, the entire property felt fresh, inviting, and well cared for. Many thanks to the entire staff, both those I encountered and those working behind the scenes. Everyone played a part in creating an exceptional guest experience. Your efforts were truly appreciated, and I look forward to returning.

We stayed for a single night as we were in town for a Sabre's game. The hotel is easy to find, is about a 2 minute walk from the Key bank Arena and there are several restaurants a short walk away. Check in was quick and friendly. They have on-site parking (for a fee) which is fine but the parking spaces are small: a pick-up truck may actually sit on both lines. Our room was great: very large, clean, modern and huge windows offering a nice view. Charging outlets were everywhere, beds were comfortable, bathroom was bright and everything was exceptionally clean. The hotel was also very quiet leading to a good nights sleep. While not inexpensive, this Courtyard is a great choice if in the area for an event.

Our room was large and the bed comfortable. We stayed in the hotel before beginning a bike ride to Albany. Proximity to the trail was good and room was large enough to easily fit our bikes. The bar downstairs was nice for grabbing a beer before going to bed. The manager gave us a special rate for parking our car until we returned from Albany.

We stayed at the Courtyard for one night. Check-in was easy, and the hotel had parking. We had a spacious corner room. Bathroom was large with all amenities we needed. We were treated to fireworks that night. (We learned that there was a baseball game ongoing nearby.) We didn't take advantage of the bar's happy hour. Overall, the room was comfortable and quiet. We would stay there again.

Easy to find from the highway or from downtown, close to so many attractions and restaurants (quick 10 min walk to Seneca Casino), and very clean and comfortable. Pool is clean and a fun atmosphere, gym has a good variety of equipment, and staff was so friendly. Plenty of on site parking and right next to a train stop for easy access to the whole rest of the city. Room was so clean and a fun layout with lots of space. Will definitely be back!
