This is a budget hotel with a luxury hotel price tag. I gave it two stars for the comfortable bed and great location. But there were too many issues to justify the $300/night price tag. This hotel is in desperate need of some upgrades. A few of the problems I experienced: - When I got to my room, the main light switch didn’t work and I couldn’t find the switches for the bedside lights. I went back down to the desk to ask and the attendant didn’t apologize or tell me where to find them, just curtly said they’d send an engineer up. By the time the engineer arrived, I’d found the switches, otherwise I guess I would have just been sitting in the dark for 45 minutes? - The chair in my room was completely scuffed up, and one of the light fixtures was cracked. Fine for a $100/night motel, not for $300/night. - There were only two towels in the room, and neither was a washcloth. Both towels were too small to function well as bath towels. - The onsite restaurant is pretty poor and there are surprisingly few good breakfast options nearby. - One of the pillowcases was stained. - When I checked out, I very politely let them know about the issue with the light fixture, and they just said they’d note it down. No apology or thank you for letting them know. All of these would be fine at a budget motel. But I wanted to make sure people weren’t expecting luxury for these prices.

As a previous manager within the hotel industry (Front desk, housekeeping) this motel was a disappointment. My request for a low floor was never placed in the notes. The front desk agent (Ariana) was unfriendly with her forced grin. Everything I gave her in her hand she retuned to me by placing it on the counter (ID, CC, etc.) rather than in my hand. She gave me a room which she knew was not up to par and I'm sure would never stay in herself nor any of her family members. The furniture should be thrown out and housekeeping needs to deep clean this room. Material from the bathroom door was also peeled off making it somewhat difficult to close the door. There was no hot water on the morning of check out and I notified the front desk and all she could say was that she'll let the morning staff know when they arrive. I never received an apology, money off my bill and not even a phone call from a manager apologizing for my inconvenience.

I hate leaving low reviews, however I was extremely disappointed with this hotel while staying here. We decided to visit NYC for Christmas, and honestly we wish we would have stayed in a different hotel. First off, we arrived December 24, 2024 in the evening. They have valet service, which was very helpful since parking was hard to find. We booked 2 rooms with them. One room with 2 full beds for my husband and I and our daughter, and a second room with one king bed for my mother in law. For 2 nights for both rooms. Checking in was a whole different experience. While my husband was checking in at the front counter, I waited near by with my daughter. At the front desk, behind the small wall they have a fight broke out between the employees. Started off with cussing each other out extremely loudly in front of everyone, to then actually fighting. This went on for some time. My daughter is 4 years old. Definitely not something I wanted her to witness. The whole situation was handled very poorly. The following morning I called the front desk to get some new bath towels, no one showed up. 45 minutes later I called again. Very noisy at night. People laughing and screaming at 1 am -3 am. Not much else I can say. It was just a poor experience overall, and I wish I would have booked elsewhere. Rooms are clean and bathrooms were clean. Only good thing I can say is thank you to the cleaning crew and to the valet service.

The location and comfortable. My favorite and only hotel to visit when I’m in Brooklyn. The views are amazing. The bed is comfortable. I visit this hotel all the time and it never disappoints! The hotel bar and restaurant is great! I can’t wait to go back!

Never again. They will hold your money. STAY away from this hotel. RUN away from this hotel. I was in this hotel on September 30 2024, and upon check in they insisted for a 150$ as incidental deposit fees. Anyhow, I DID paid it. & since October 1, 2024 ( the second day ) and they still holding the deposit. 22 days till this moment. I called them, sent them bunch of emails, but no one cares. Till today October 22, 2024 and they still holding the deposit fees. Don’t ever go there. As for me. It was my ever mistake to Checked in. Now I know why they are low level and they behind Hilton and Marriott. This hotel from the first staff you meet at the reception till the manger of the duty. All of them are incompetent and they are beyond any sense of responsibility. A bunch of incompetent running a low grade chain of hotel. I don’t blame them. I blame Myself that I went to that ugly place. But again it was my first and last time. No more even for free. Again. I have my followers on x.com ( 30k ) I will be making sure to share with such experience. Just to alert and warn them. Don’t ever. Ever go there.
