Best Western Crown Inn & Suites

Breakfast every morning, close to salmon, brown trout fishing, shopping close. Rochester 30 minutes. Friendly staff. Batavia race track and casino basically across street. Walmart, Applebee's, restaurants, Dicks, Lowes, grocery stores within miles.

Take a look at other reviews. I should have. When complaints are made, Mr. Patel states, "I have shared this with the appropriate department," or something like that. Apparently, he has not because we experienced some disgusting sheets, towels, and floors. Oh, and the door looked like someone tried to break it down, as you'll see from the attached. We were traveling from Boston to the Midwest and needed an overnight stay. I will say this--spend the extra money and don't stay here! The first room had brown and red stains both on the bed cover and the sheets. I shared the photos with the front desk clerk who agreed they looked horrible and switched rooms. Guess what? The next room had the same issues! When I came back she offered a 1/4 discount. We were so tired, we just stayed, but my daughter (20) took a blanket from the car (thankfully, we had one) and slept on that. These photos are from two rooms. Also, we didn't shower because the shower floor had, what appeared to be, bacteria and other stains. The towels also had brown stains as you'll see, and the hook on the back of the door wasn't attached properly, as you'll see.

The pool & spa was closed with no mention of this on the website. Upon looking at the pool area, it has been closed down by the county health department two months earlier. The pull-out sofa in our room was filthy with numerous stains on the mattress and underneath and there were no sheets to place on it. The bathroom toilet either ran constantly or wouldn't flush, and the elliptical machine in the fitness center was broken with no indication of same.

This place definitely needs an update. The carpet smells moist, which brings out all the other smells. Our sink drain was clogged with hairs and would barely drain. The hallway walls and door are too thin as we could hear children running in it and people being loud in rooms down the hall. For the price, this was a TERRIBLE value. I have always valued and counted on Best Western to have comfortable and clean facilities - this failed

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Team members are always friendly. The pool hasn't been open so you might want to check before you go. Close to shopping and all kinds of food. If you're looking for a low cost, clean, friendly place to stay, Best Western is your place.
