Hotel Santa Fe

I am a regular guest at Hotel Santa Fe as I make my way back home for family visits. Amongst my dozens of stays the hotel has kept its charm, retained amazing service, and continued regular comfort. I recommend Hotel Santa Fe to anyone visiting magical Santa Fe!

The hotel did not live up to expectations. The bathroom was small and it was difficult to get into the tub shower with the glass doors. The pocket door was loud in the bathroom and didn’t shut all the way. The room was worn and needs to be updated. Lastly, staff was not overly friendly or helpful.

The room smelled like sewage. The staff were really nice and the room was large. However, it was not worth $450. It also smelled like sewage so bad. We contemplated leaving and finding a new spot. However, we were jetlagged and stuck it out. The free breakfast was meh. We left.

A very nice hotel with great rooms. I booked a fireplace suit in the Hacienda and the from desk staff were friendly and efficient at check in . The Butlers in the hacienda are outstanding in service and willingness to help with anything. The downside was that despite having my phone number and email it was not until I arrived that I learned that the elevator in the Hacienda was not functioning.and had not been for some time it seemed. This meant that access to the room was via two flights of stairs, the breakfast in the Hacienda was now to be served in the main hotel as was the evening reception. This entailed several trips up and down the stairs which for me as an elderly (88 years)) old semi invalid was quite a challenge. I was offered another room in the main hotel, but wanted to experience the Hacienda. Our first room was situated just above a part of the car park where workmen were drilling a hole in the asphalt to accommodate an electric charging station for cars and the incessant noise was enough for us to move to another room which was perfect Again well done the Butler. Food in the restaurant was good and I had the best chicken pot pie in the West. So overall a very good hotel, I just felt that6 the 10% discount I receive ved as a local didn't truly compensate for all the inconvenience caused by everything described above, but I would stay again but checking beforehand that everything was working as advertised.
