Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Santa Fe

I stayed at Fairfield Inn and Suites , 3625 Cerrillos road Santa Fe, NM 87507 on February 22. And while the stay was ok, I unfortunately left my phone behind. I called them on 2/25 at 12:35PM to ask if they could ship it to me. An employee told me I had to go to ileftmystuff.com and fill out a form, and then call them back the next day. I did as requested and filled out the form and called back the next day at 1:02PM to ask if they could ship it now. The employee said that they could not, and I would have to call back when a manager was available. I called the next day on 2/27 at 4:31 PM and spoke to a woman who said she was a manager from corporate. She apologized for all the issues and said she would take care of it herself the next day, and I wouldn't need to do anything else as long as I had the address on the form. I did. However, the next day, someone from the front desk called me at 1:00 PM 2/28, and it sounded like the same person who I spoke to the very first time. He then told me that wasn't true, and I had to pay a shipping fee and he would send it out that day. I am quite irritated at this point, but promptly go online and paid $40.67 to have it shipped. However, the employee filled out or input the address incorrectly and it got sent to TEXAS! Now I have no idea where my phone is. I should have just driven the 4 hours back to the hotel to get it if I knew they were going to lose it. 😭🤬

Marriott Titanium member: After Thanksgiving dinner downtown, I was looking for a nice Marriott property in Santa Fe. This Fairfield Inn may be my new "must-stay " hotel! The hotel was clean and had a pool and hot tub. My room was well-furnished with a mini-fridge and microwave. Coffee maker - of course. I slept well in this very quiet hotel. Excellent free breakfast this morning. I appreciate the packet of shave cream, few hotels offer that. My only complaint is minor: I didn't care for the old, fixed-pattern showerhead.

I am a Marriot Rewards member. Avoid this hotel. We stayed there with our 1 18 lb dog. I declared the dog when making my reservation and told the desk we had the dog a check in. I was told that I would be charged $100.00 for the dog. I provided my card and and signed the paperwork. I was not given a copy of the paperwork. When I looked at the receipt emailed to me, I had been charged two $150.00 deposits. Management at the hotel could not be reached. When I contacted Marriot to complain, the hotel manager lied to cover themselves and said we had two dogs, which is not true. There was another older couple there with two dogs and perhaps that was them. At this time, I have been unable to resolve this dispute with Marriot. When we arrived the hotel cable service did not work. The vent fan in the bathroom did not work. My husband is handicapped, and the key check in on the back door did not work. He has difficulty walking, so he dropped me off at the front of the hotel. I walked through the hotel and let him in every day. The hotel is in a rough area of Santa Fe. There is a large tear in the chain link fence at the rear of the hotel, allowing anyone from the marijuana dispensary next door to walk right in to the parking lot. Because the door did not work, guests left pebbles in the back door so that they could get in. The hotel is not secure. It is not up to Marriot standards. Being overcharged and accused of cheating is the icing on the cake.

I had booked a night's stay for Sept 8, 2024.Prepayment was made on Aug 17, 2024 itself. On Sept 30, I was surprised that I was AGAIN charged to my credit card.I have been sending reminders for REFUND but to no avail even after SIX weeks (Nov 10).

This is a really nice little hotel in Santa Fe out on Cerrillos Road. It's an older property, but they really do a fantastic job of keeping it up and it's very clean and beds are comfortable. There is a really nice indoor pool with a hot tub and they serve a very nice breakfast in the morning with waffles, eggs, toast, etc. You can tell they try their best to keep this property maintained, I know it's a ton of work, but it's a really nice place and we will definitely stay here again. I think their staff is wonderful and very hard-working, the maids were super friendly and all working really hard. Convenient location, too, with ample parking and easy access to downtown as well as I-25. Lots of nice restaurants in the area, too.
