Hampton Inn Albuquerque University Midtown

We are Hilton Honors members. This hotel is way below the Hilton standard. The rooms are old - popcorn ceiling, no overhead lighting (room is very dark with only one desk lamp and bed lamps) old bathroom. It was also unkept and dirty - pillowcases were wrinkled looking as if they'd been used, the walls and floor of the bathroom were very dirty. We also were not offered, or provided, our Hilton Honor snacks. If you are thinking of staying because it is less expensive than the other Hamptons, don't do it! You think "It's a Hampton, it can't be too bad" but it is! Stay somewhere else.

My husband I were traveling and stayed at this hotel l Sept 7-8 the front desk lady was very nice. We decided later in the day to do a load of laundry we put our clothes in the dryer went to our room. When we returned our clothes were taken. We had to go to Walmart next day to replace our garments when I told the manager what happen when checking out he offered extra points to my honors account I never got the points a week passed I called him and he agreed to add them and again never did. I will just like something being this was a huge inconvenience. The manager is not honest you are suppose to help your guest in a timely manner

This hotel is extremely outdated and in need of renovation. Carpets in hallway are worn and matted, Door handle on room did not work properly, towels were uncomfortable and even with a the light on in my room there was hardly any light in room to work. Elevator doors did not close all the way when moving.There were homeless people in the parking lot that would beg for money and even one came into the lobby and to ask for money from everyone eating breakfast.

My stay at the Hampton Inn Mumbai (err Hampton Inn --University Midtown Albuquerque ) was well below any Hampton I have stayed in over the past 20 years. Black out drapes which did not move in any direction that left the very bright LED parking lot light shine into my room preventing a good night's sleep ............but I did get a cold shower start to my day which woke me up because there was no hot water this morning except in the coffer machine on the ground floor. I did enjoy my baby cheese omelet and sausage links. I will not return here.........

This hotel has great and friendly staff. Every time you would pass one of them they would greet us with a smile. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The only issue was inside the rooms you hear everything outside. From people talking as they are in the hallway, traffic noises outside, the elevator makes a bing noise every time the door opens. There is a doorbell outside some rooms and our son pushed the one for our room only to find out this is not a doorbell but makes the fire alarm sound in the room. That is very concerning that the fire system is not working correctly.
