NOT PET FRIENDLY! Approximately 78% of Americans travel with their pet. That's a big number. Evidently, Green Tree never got that memo. Their idea of “pet friendly” is charging $25 for each of your pets per night. When I looked at their website before reserving a room , it stated that the cost would be $10 a pet. Although I don't particularly like pet fees , I thought that was a reasonable amount. Upon approaching the checkout desk there was a large sign high-lighted in yellow proclaiming the $25 charge. I explained to the young desk clerk named Joshua that the website stated the $10 charge. He was quite friendly and said he would ask his manager. After a few minutes, he stated that his manager decided that we need to pay the $25 instead of the $10. I asked to speak to the manager. A women named Monica finally came out to the desk after waiting 15 minutes for her arrival. She appeared glum, irritated and not very customer friendly. I calmly explained again the discrepancy in their stated pet fees. I even showed her the website where it clearly stated the $10 charge. She was unconvinced and undeterred. “They should have updated their website” was her only explanation. She showed me the contract where the $25 charge was located. Of course , it was hidden under paragraphs of fine print. Be aware that Green Tree also charges a $250 deposit for booking their rooms. Conceivable , even if they didn't charge a pet fee, they would certainly get their compensation from this outrageous deposit requirement. The motel was overall satisfactory, but somehow it amazes me how management can leave a negative impression. Pet lovers, find another motel who understands what “pet friendly” means.

Bathroom looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years! We left 2 days early. Staff and manger Brian were kind and refunded our money in the spot. Next door, 2 boarded up old hotels surrounded by razor wire. That says it all. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

This is my second stay here. My room is large and comfy. I got here more than an hour before check-in time but they let me have my room right away. When I came back from dinner after dark, I was glad I knew where I was going. Their lighted sign by the road (currently) mostly shows photos of their facilities... and only shows the hotel name for a few seconds! I recommend GPS -- partly because it's not easy to get here if you're coming from I-25 southbound.

Good functional hotel. I stay here when I'm experiencing marital discord Rates are good for what you get. Clean rooms, great location, TV works well, nice front desk staff. Looking for caviar room service? Not at this price range. Stayed at their property in Sedona Az, very.good for the price and good location. Greentree is a little under the radar, but if there is a greentree when I travel for work, I'm so there

If you had the choice of sleeping on the sidewalk or this hotel, make sure you bring a pillow so the sidewalk won't be as hard. This hotel stunk like skunk weed. Hard beds. Room was hot. A/C filter hadn't been cleaned in forever and it was torn. Entire hotel looks like it hadn't been updated in 50 years. NO WAY this is 2.5 star. Maybe 1. Classic roach hotel.
