Construction noise was significant. The first day jack hammering went on for 2 hours from 3-5. The doorâs dead lock didnât work nor did the other lock. I placed moveable furniture in front of the door at night. I was a female traveling alone, so this was a concern. The restaurant and bar were great. Also, many of the construction crew were living and cooking in the rooms. Smoke was visible in the hallways.

This hotel is under renovation until November 2025 but is still trying to stay open with half of the rooms and many of the public areas closed off. In short our 3 day stay to attend a conference there was a disaster. Our room was not yet renovated and had the look and feel of a 1980's motel room. The air conditioning in the bedroom part of the suite did not work the first night, but was fixed on the second day. However, then it leaked water into the room constantly. After the first morning, our coffee and tea supply was not replenished. I asked the desk twice and finally got the coffee, but no tea and no cups. We almost ran out of toilet paper and I called to have some brought, but after half an hour no one came so I went down to the desk and was able to get the only roll that was available. The electrical outlet for the coffee maker was reported inoperative on the second day but never fixed. We had to move the coffee maker to another location where there was a plug. The website for the hotel did say the pool was closed but that the fitness center was open. It was not! The air conditioning in the meeting rooms for the conference never did work, and those rooms were very warm. They put in a portable unit in one of the rooms, but it only put out warm air since it needed to be hooked up to a water source. Then there was the noise and dust from the construction. That was mentioned when we made the reservation but it was significant during the day. You will not be able to stay in the room during the day with the loud banging constantly. The staff were friendly and promised to fix or provide things but were not always able to deliver. I got the sense that they are understaffed during the renovation. I would have thought the room prices might be reduced during the renovation because of all the issues and lack of facilities, but that does not seem to be the case. Bottom line, I would not recommend anyone stay there until after the renovation is finished late in 2025.

Our brand new car was broken in too. This happen 2/17 we were parked right in front of the lobby. Do not stay here , it is not safe. The hotel should be shut down. It is under construction and should not be taking on guests. Mgt is no help and we were promised a comped bill they charged us for.

Beware of Fraudulent Charges and Terrible Customer Service! I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel obligated to warn othersâcheck your bill immediately if you stay at this hotel! We booked our flights and hotel through Priceline, paying upfront for our room. At checkout, we didnât receive a bill or an email indicating any additional charges. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that the hotel charged us again for the roomâover $700! Mistakes happen, so I called them, expecting a simple fix. At first, they acknowledged the error and assured me they would process a refund. That did NOT happen. Instead, I spent four months fighting to get my money back, jumping through endless hoops with little to no response from the hotel. The primary person I dealt with was Savannah, and her customer service was awful. She ignored emails, didnât return phone calls, and I couldnât even get a response from her managers. The only time anything got done was when I escalated the issue to Marriott corporateâthen, suddenly, Savannah had been âworking on it all along.â Yet, she had never once communicated any updates to me! On the rare occasions I did get her on the phone, she was dismissive and claimed there was nothing more she could do. This was a stressful, frustrating, and unacceptable experience. I feel lucky to have finally gotten my money back, but no one should have to go through this. If you stay here, double-check your charges. Better yet, avoid this hotel entirely. Itâs shameful that a Marriott operates this way!

This is the worst hotel ever. Don't stay here until October. We knew construction was going on....but was really pissed off that all the tvs come on and go off after 15 minutes...comes back on for 15 minutes and off again. They need to let people know that up front. Each time you go to the desk to inquire...they say they called someone out...been going on for 3 weeks...then whoever you are calling and they are not fixing it....why would you call those same people out. I don't think they called anyone. It just doesn't make sense. Then they say.....we went out for the day...came back and room not cleaned. There's not even that many people checked in because they are only using floors 1-5 because of all the construction. Swimming pool..out of order...the so called weight room is just some weights and treadmill stuck in some make shift room for banquets. If I'm the manager...I would let the people know about all these issues up front. Marriott are usually one of my favorites...not this one at all....glad I'm out of here soon. You would think they would offer you some free coffee ....or something to at least show they are concerned. But they dont.
