SpringHill Suites by Marriott Ewing Princeton South

We stayed 2 nights before a scheduled surgery and had an excellent experience checking in and great first impression. They welcomed us as Marriott Members and provided a gift bag with waters, chips and some granola bars. The front desk Katelyn was so nice. We had a double bed room booked. The configuration was a little odd with only one TV for both the living room area and the bedroom area. You could barely see or hear the TV from the far bed and if you used the pull out sofa you'd have to share the TV with those in the beds. There is a tiny water closet a super tiny sink (think cruise ship) and the shower is separated with a big closet in-between the toilet and shower. Also, not crazy about staring at the toilet closet from the bed. Overall we decided to just make the best if it. No where to plug in a cpap machine or phones to charge without unplugging lamps. The outlets next to the bed didn't have end tables to place your phone on. We get into bed and get up to get something and spot a huge very much alive Stinkbug, could have been much worse than a stink bug but still I don't enjoy sharing my sleeping space with a live bug. The next morning we went to the front desk to ask for a change of bed sheets/room cleaning due to the the bug and hoping there was no more. If you are staying two nights they do service the room. Again the front staff was excellent and very accommodating. They even sent housekeeping up to clean by a certain time as my husband was having surgery and we needed to be back in the room resting afterwards. Also, if you're having surgery at Capitol health they have a Capital Health rate you can ask for. The next night was uneventful no more bugs and we were happy to have clean beds. When I woke up in the morning I stepped on a huge piece of glass that cut my foot causing quite a bit of blood. Very disappointed that the room was supposedly cleaned twice once upon arrival and then once after the bug incident we were supposed to have a full cleaning. Other things I probably would have glossed over was the overabundance of mold in the bathroom and the very uncomfortable beds. Not to mention the airplanes flying directly over the hotel and it being so loud. Luckily they stopped by 10:00 p.m. The breakfast in the morning was probably the worst options we've had at a complimentary breakfast in a long time. I also was told a manager would reach out to me to discuss my injury but nobody has which makes this even more upsetting. The pool is small and was closed on one evening unexpectedly. Overall there are so many hotels in the area I would pick a different one. So disappointed that they never called to see if I was OK or to acknowledge the poor housekeeping, do better Springhill Suites Ewing.

We had a one-night stay at this property and would not stay here again. I picked this hotel thinking it didn't really matter which hotel we chose because they are all the same in this category, but our stay here was unpleasant. Starting with check-in on a Saturday afternoon, the person who checked us in was curt and even a bit rude. I let it pass without comment, but even my fella picked up on it afterward and said to me "was it just me or was she pretty rude?". The second bad aspect of our stay was getting room # 101, which is at the end of the hallway and next to an exit. The door banged constantly and it was not a relaxing space. Lastly, the room itself was just not comfortable. The lighting was harsh in the room. The room divider seemed a bit outdated. The closet was weird (no safe) and the bathroom was broken up into two small rooms, both of which did not offer much privacy to the sleeping area. The pillows were too soft and the breakfast did not have many appetizing hot options, but did have fresh bananas. I think this is the last Spring Hill Suites I’ll try.

I have decided I really like Springhill Suites. There is a consistency to the product that I appreciate. I had a very short stay in Ewing. This hotel sits in an office park area so overnight it is very quiet. Rooms was clean and the bedding comfortable. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was adequate - scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, whole fruit and the necessary condiments. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit to the SpringHill Suites in Ewing, NJ for a lacrosse tournament. Our sales coordinator, Jennah was wonderful to work with in setting up our room block and answering many of our questions leading up to our stay. She was professional and fantastic to work with in every way and deserves to be recognized. Rooms were in great shape and very clean with well-stocked amenities. We enjoyed the patio area and fire pit with our large group, and made use of the lobby and meeting room for a group dinner. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay!

I needed a convenient hotel to fly out of Trenton airport & my stay here provided all that. They have an airport shuttle shared with the Courtyard so you have to arrange for a pick up to and from the airport. Room was spacious and clean. Though there are no bathroom hooks to hang your towel. Room is equipped with small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The walls are rather thin and you can hear hallway noise. Good wi-fi. Only 1 computer & printer (without toner) in lobby. Sufficient breakfast provided to start your day. Coffee & tea in lobby at all times. Pleasant & professional front desk. The hotel is rather secluded and surrounded by business/corporate park. There are no nearby food places. There are nice walking paths/sidewalks to venture out - walking 2.5 miles (or 5 minute drive) to the nearest food places by nearby university. You can uber or grubhub.
