Check in was great, the free breakfast was outstanding, and the free reception from 5-630 was ok. Free house wine and spirits, tortilla chips and salsa. Room was very clean and hotel overall was very nice. The one thing I would have to say is about the A/C. Overall, it was very confusing. It only seems to kick in when it’s 60 degrees or higher outside. So we had our window open a lot , which it only open maybe 6-7 inches. So a lot of cigarette smoke and other “smoke” came in. Overall, about a 15 minute drive to Thomas Edison museum, open Thursday to Sunday only. About a 30-40 minute drive to Liberty park.

We’ve stayed here before. The downward trajectory is alarming. Furniture is scrapped and worn. Dresser knobs came of in our hands. Bald spots and frayed rug. Cracking, peeling paint on bathroom door. But worse by far was the gagging odor of cleaning product when we opened the room door. I have respiratory disease but my husband doesn’t and he also gagged. We managed to get the room window open a bit. We called the front desk and they brought a fan. We propped the room door open. Minimal relief. On top all of this and the “not cheap” room rate they have the AUDACITY to charge $15/night for parking. Are you kidding me?! The place has become a dump! ONLY good thing was the attentive front desk staff. They tried the best they could. SHAME ON YOU HILTON!

This was hands down the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had, and frankly, one of the worst hotel stays of my life. I checked into my first room only to find it absolutely filthy. The bathroom toilet had urine on the seat and hair all over it — the tub too. The chairs in the living area were old, stained, and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The microwave? Covered in who-knows-what and clearly decades old. Disgusting. I went to the front desk and explained the situation. Thankfully, the gentleman working was kind and offered me another room. Unfortunately, the second room was somehow even worse. A visible dead bug was hanging in a spiderweb in the window — in a supposedly “clean, vacant” room. The bed linens had yellow stains, and the room overall looked untouched by housekeeping. I ended up having to stand in my room and watch someone scrub my toilet and change the sheets in front of me — just to feel halfway comfortable sleeping there. Ridiculous. Breakfast was a whole other nightmare. I waited in line for five minutes just to be denied more than four pieces of bacon — for me and my son — because “there are other people in line.” Four pieces for two people? Really? When I expressed frustration, the staff member had the nerve to say, “Are you mad with me?” Yes, I was — and rightfully so. To top it off, they offer “complimentary drink vouchers” that are only good from 5–6:30 PM — which is a joke if you’re out and about during that time. I returned to the hotel around 9 PM and asked if they could honor it due to the circumstances of my terrible stay — of course, they said no. This hotel is no better than a Motel 6. The general manager should be ashamed, and so should Hilton for attaching their name to this location. The only saving grace was the kind front desk staff — they tried to help, but there’s only so much they could do when the hotel is clearly a mess from top to bottom. Do yourself a favor: stay literally anywhere else.

We couldn’t get the temperature in the room below 76 degrees. We were told the system had not yet been put in summer mode and was still heating. The thermostat was basically a placebo that did nothing. Both sink and bathtub would back up and take 30 minutes to drain. We reported it and were told someone would be up. We waited 2 hours and nobody showed up so we gave up and went out. Also don’t appreciate the parking fee in a suburban location. The free cocktail and made to order eggs are pluses but don’t make up for the other shortfalls. The hotel is tired and badly needs a refurb.

We were here for a tournament. Multiple families had bed bugs. The staff provided additional rooms to us and those rooms also had bed bugs. I have never been so uncomfortable in a hotel before. We consistently saw people packing up and leaving late at night for what I am sure was the same reason. Sheets were not clean on the beds, clearly slept on. There was sewage smells in rooms, filth, broken door handles, broken toilet paper holders. The rooms were freezing, we could not get the temperature to go above 66. I could go on and on here. Please do not stay here.
