Hyatt Place Fair Lawn Paramus

As you can see from my last review I stayed here last year with my friends. At that time I was pleased with my stay although my friends were disappointed with their stay because their room was impacted by Route 4 road noise. My room was in the rear of the hotel away from the Route 4 road noise. I booked my annual free complimentary king bedroom for a Thursday night stay at this hotel using my Hyatt app on my iPhone about one month prior to my stay. This time I was here solo to visit with my family in nearby Paramus. As you can see from my last review I liked this hotel. The hotel now offers direct texting like most other hotels, since they texted me the day prior to remind me of my stay. I parked my Audi in front of the hotel. My check-in went smoothly. My 309 king bedroom overlooked the front of the hotel overlooking Route 4 West. Everything in my room worked well without any problems. My room was comfortable. I did not experience any Route 4 road noise as my friends experienced last year. Complimentary breakfast of coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, and bananas were included. My checkout also went smoothly. I would return here again although I did plan another visit with my family in May. Except this time I will try another hotel located in nearby Paramus. More to come regarding my next visit to Paramus in May. I used to live in Paramus.

Disappointed with recent stay. The hotel is very dated, rooms had dirt film in the bathroom, mold on the sink lip and the sheet had a hole in it. A bit noisy along the highway, so be prepared to know this about the location. Not ideal stay. People at desk were very nice, friendly staff.

My stay at the Hyatt in Paramus was overall positive. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful from check-in to facilitating a food delivery--they were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. My only issue was that (as noted) the pool was closed, and the continental breakfast was a little lacking. There weren't a ton of options and some items were a little cold. But the seating area was lovely (and they do have a Starbucks type counter with items for purchase).

Very clean hotel with awesome staff and an amazing breakfast! The Starbucks onsite is very convenient. Everything was very clean. My only critique is with the pillows, they are not supportive for the neck and tend to go flat after laying down on them.

Bed was lumpy. Barely made up. Room was old and tired. Hard water stains galore. Coffee and breakfast were cold. I will say that the hotel was quiet and I never had a problem with finding a parking place. The ice maker didn't work, and I was told, hadn't worked in so e time. The room itself was big. 475 square feet, which is quite generous. Every inch need to be redone. Really disappointed in Hyatt for having such a decrepit property. Shame on you, Hyatt
