Very back and forth about what eating to give. Specific reason for a low rating: - Dust/dirt in hotel room like on the fan and fixtures. It's an old establishment so understand 'oldness' like peeling paint/wallpaper but actual dust or dirt can and should be cleaned between each guest. The bedding seemed clean at least. I rely heavily on reviews to select where we stay so I feel I have to note this for future travelers. We actually had a back up place to go stay the third night and so we left a night early because it the dust was starting to gross my out. Other considerations that wouldn't have lowered my rating but still worth noting for other travelers: - Heavy food smell from the restaurant below. - Very noisy/windows didn't keep town sounds out. Postives: - HISTORY ...such a historical place, very cool. - Light continental breakfast also a plus. - Friendly staff. - Excellent location.

My family of 4 loved staying at this inn! It is in a great location, and we loved our room. I believe we booked a family suite, but they gave us a Kitchenette suite. It had a dining table and kitchenette in the main room along with the full bathroom and 2 separate bedrooms on either side of that room, one with a king and the other with 2 twins. Both bedrooms had a sink. The inn definitely could use some updates, but we really enjoyed it! We were on the top floor, and the only inconveniences were that there isn't an elevator (ok for us) and the hot water took about 10-15 minutes to reach the room. We would stay there again if we visit Littleton in the future.

DO NOT STAY in Room 217!!! My husband and I recently booked a night and we asked for a room away from the main street. We were given Room 217, which is pretty much a half of a room, tucked way in the back of the second floor. The queen bed was crammed into the corner, requiring one of us to climb over the other to get out of bed, much like our camper. We could not use the luggage rack if we wanted to have access to the bathroom, that's how small the room is. We actually removed the luggage rack from the room. We asked for another room but they were fully booked. I was comped with a 25% discount after having to speak to the front desk and then the "innkeeper" multiple times. As another review stated, "breakfast" is gross, vending machine packaged non-food. Not one piece of fruit. I was expecting old elegance, not a ski resort college room. So very disappointing.

Quaint charming historic SUPERB location. NOT NOT NOT even close to a self proclaimed first class facility for over $250 per night. Staff is friendly helpful and professional. The owner is the one cutting corners. Breakfast is pre packaged vending machine snacks. Luckily, main street has a couple bakeries with fresh baked goods and ample coffee selections. Room decor is yard sale quality that was left out in the rain. Room heat is a plug in portable space heater. Don't run heater and blow dryer same time. Showers are cramped. Shower curtain too short so water floods floor. Never used cold water. Hot water barely warm enough. Late night bathroom visits turn on main room lights along with bathroom lights.

A picture is worth a thousand words. This place is a DUMP. We travelled 3,500 miles for a romantic getaway and got a metal coatrack and plumbing pipes running across the ceiling. That is lovely room 13. It clearly was very unlucky. It also stank of disinfectant.
