Motel 6 Winnemucca NV

Both beds were broken. The walls were dirty. There was blood on the skirt of the bed. The phone was not even plugged up. The floors were dirty, like the dirt had been swept up just in the corners. both of the beds barely fit in the room. One of the beds was sitting right next to the AC unit. The remote to the TV didn’t work so if you wanted to watch TV, you had to go and turn on the TV by hand.

The whole place was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had no reservations. Check-in and check-out was easy to complete. The price was ok. The rooms were clean, the Wifi was good, the security is good, the place looks safe. Temperature was good. There are some decent restaurants nearby. I went to the nearby Bambu Ramen, which was good. I enjoyed my stay here.

The clerk super nice and friendly . The room had been poorly kept the phone didn’t even have proper cords so non functional. The toilet had been cleaned and there was a ring on the inside .Like it hadn’t been scrubbed for a long time of muck !Gross ! I was looking forward to swimming after driving all day and again before O checked out as it’s 71 degrees here in the evening but the pool was green like it hadn’t been cleaned in months . I have traveled and stayed at motel 6 for business in 18 different states for business and they were always maintained well very clean and most importantly the deadbolts worked . not this one dirt was swept into corner of bathroom . If I wasn’t so tired after I got to my room I would have gone somewhere else

I have never stayed at a Motel 6 before but we needed a affordable night’s rest while driving through. The room was clean, no carpet, which I prefer, the free Wi-Fi worked well and the shower was hot. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me but my family said they slept fine, I’m just a princess. I think we had an old smoking room as there was a lingering smell but nothing overwhelming. For a single night or two, I would stay again.

I've stayed at many Motel 6s around the country, this one was pretty decent. Pics shown are out dated, this hotel has been updated and the rooms look better than the pics. My room was really clean and actually smelled nice too. Winnemucca is a stopping point for me when I road trip so I will definitely look to stay here again..within walking distance to some stores/places to get food.
