Studio 6 Mccarran NV Sparks Tahoe Reno Industrial Center

I love staying here. Staff is so friendly feels very welcoming. Rooms are great with the kitchenettes and very clean. They have luggage carts two entrances, and an elevator. Great parking in the front and back of the hotel. Coffee is brewed early in the morning.

Comfortable beds and spacious room with nice lighting. We had never stayed at a Studio 6 before, just a Motel 6. This place is more comfortable and had all the basic amenities we needed. It is also an extended stay place so it has a standard fridge and also a couple of electrical burners to cook. Bring your own pans and utensils to cook with! Would stay again if needed.

Made the reservation almost a month ago and asked at that time for a ground floor room. Called twice today to remind them. No ground floor room. We are elderly and traveling with two dogs so move in would have been a bit easier with a ground floor room near a back door. Large, very clean, modern room, probably the nicest Motel 6 we’ve ever been in. Not cheap, however, but rooms in nearby Reno were going for maybe $80 more this Labor Day weekend. Full size fridge, cooktop, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, ironing board and iron. The kitchen is equipped with appliances but no tools, plates, silverware or dish soap. Those who are staying longer can get some kind of kitchen tool kit. There are two tables and one chair with a banquette at one of the tables. Lots of places to put stuff. nice receptionist but she was not the one who should have set aside a ground floor room for us ahead of time. I did notice one hallway on the ground floor was for smokers. Maybe they all are, but telling me that would have made me less annoyed. There is no grassy area to walk dogs but they do have two poop bag stations which actually are stocked with bags and a garbage can. however the grounds are not well kept up. There is an overflowing garbage can at the back door. There is poop, cigarette butts and other junk that needs to be cleaned up. Very weak wifi but plenty of places to plug in device chargers. BYO hairdryer and Kleenex if that is important to you.

Very clean with modern decor. 20 minutes east off freeway from UNR. Fast check in, nice staff. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. Fantastic price, at least 1/2 of what most places were charging in Reno the night we stayed. No frills but it was just right for us and dog friendly. No smell of smoke, mustiness or dog. We'll be back.

Other than noise problems, this is a good place if you are staying long-term. Our A/C machine was noisy, and there was almost-constant thumping and bumping. Big room , full kitchen. We had a handicap room (on the second floor!). The elevator broke down twice while we were there. Both times were after we checked in. The second time was on the day we left. We were helped with loading out. Other than the noise, and the fact that the hotel is not really near Sparks/Reno, no complaints.
