Longhorn Casino & Hotel

We stay here often when in Vegas. We love the free bar drink and cookies and on this trip we won a mug with our check in spin. The rooms aren't perfect, but we had a very quiet night's sleep and the shower, frig and tv worked great. We only had two complaints this visit. 1) the pillows are very hard and uncomfortable which I've noted before so I try to remember to bring my own. 2) The chain on our door (room 207) was stuck when we tried to leave in the morning. There were not enough links and it took us nearly 5 minutes to get the chain out of the slot in order to leave the room. This could have been a disaster if there had been a fire during the night. From now on we will always check this at any motel.

This is a hard one to write. It is what it is…. It’s an old motel with a small casino attached. It’s a cheap bed, decent in house food, and a casino to spend a few bucks before bed. Having the casino means there is a smoke smell that comes out of it, but no too bad. The hard part is that usually a place is mostly good or bad. This one the staff are very good and take care of everything they can. It is also obvious that the owner doesn’t give them support for maintenance and such. The motel is dated, with stained halls, dings in the bathroom, broken a/c housing, etc. Normally this would be enough to drop the star rating, but on the other hand, the staff were super friendly. The room was clean even if the furnishing and fixtures were dated, worn out and beat up. If you can deal with the no frills and old furnishing, it is a decent cheap sleep spot.

Rudest management staff I have ever encountered!!! I travel all over for work and have never been treated so rudely!! Even to the point of being called a liar!! The rooms have old nasty bedding. The refrigerator freezer didn’t work, and the hallway carpeting was disgusting!!!

Budget friendly cozy hotel in the outskirts of the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Friendly room rates. Friendly meals at the restaurant. No cash upon check in only cards. Won a one night stay upon check in,will definitely go back.
