Be careful staying here. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. My son put a Kraft macaroni and cheese cup in the microwave and it started to burn. The second he saw smoke he turned off the microwave as he was standing right next to it (I was also near the coach in the room so very close). We left the room and told the maids to leave the microwave door shut so it could cool. They immediately walked into the room opened the microwave, smoke came out and the fire alarms went off. The exact same scenario happened to another family on our soccer team during the three days we were there. There was actually a lady that inspects electrical staying there as well and said that the electrical to her TV was faulty and she assumed that’s what happened with our teammates microwave. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to us. The reason for this review is that we got charged an extra $500. I understand it’s an inconvenience for the hotel, but 1.)thank goodness we weren’t injured and nothing blew up or started on fire, 2.) they must not have sensors on the microwaves to indicate something may be overheating, 3.) my son had just made 2 cups of macaroni and cheese 5 minutes prior and nothing burned so why did the microwave burn the Mac n cheese on the third cup 4.) there was absolutely no accountability from the hotel on the fact that it was likely their microwaves that are faulty 5.) our teammates did not have to pay a $500 extra fee and they also got their $75 deposit back on their room. Patrick Wilson, the site manager accused us of not checking out. If he went back and looked on the cameras, he could see us checking out, in fact, the receptionist even asked me if I wanted a receipt. There are probably five, maybe more, people that can confirm I checked out and told the hotel about the room situation. When I called to have a conversation with Patrick, he made these types of accusations and lies and was incredibly rude. Moral of the story is, I would not wish this on anybody and certainly would never want to have to deal with a person like Patrick Wilson again. ALSO, safety in general was a concern here. There were about six cars broken into the Friday night we were there by an armed man which also was extremely nerve-racking with our youth soccer team in the hotel.

This hotel feels new and is in a good location if you’re trying to get out to Death Valley / Red Rock Canyon. It is directly beside a Walgreens and a residential neighborhood, with several restaurants nearby (as well as a hospital, should you need it). Our room looked out over the pool and also had a great view of the mountains in the distance. The free breakfast was good and I always appreciate a hotel that offers a pantry of food available for purchase should you arrive late at night after nearby restaurants close. Our room was really large, with a separate sitting area and kitchen divided from the bed by a curtain that you can open or close. My only two complaints are that the mattress was very firm and there was no security latch on the door. There is a deadbolt but I’m pretty sure if someone had a key, they could still get into the room without that added security latch. If I was traveling by myself I would have been concerned for my safety.

By far, the cleanest hotel I've stayed at so far! Staff was cleaning all areas of this hotel EVERDAY Super clean!!! David, Andrea, and Horacio were very helpful. Being a disabled individual, it was a nice and pleasant experience! The only downside of the visit was only clean rooms after 5 days, but on request, they would do a light cleaning.

Hilton has gone downhill I guess, bed was uncomfortable with a thin comforter and flat pillows, room was not clean when we arrived, they don’t service the rooms unless you ask, breakfast is microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, do not stay here!

This was a decent choice to be near family in that area. Fairly new & rooms are clean, good breakfast, lots of food & stuff close by. We stayed in a "suite" which we had not seen offered before at this chain, the extra space really came in handy for visiting with family. Our only complaint was the lack of any designated Diamond member parking, and they do have the space... we would return if in the area..
