Desert Moon Motel

Super sketchy. Booked on Expedia. When I arrived at sunset, the area had already gotten dangerous. In the parking area were aggressive transients. 7-11 next door was closed due to it had just been robbed! Left immediately. Booked a no refund room and was out money but still bailed. It was that sketchy.

STAY AWAY. Extremely poor management, dirty rooms and very sketchy customer based doing lord knows what. I was harassed, intimidated and not refunded for not even staying. I checked in, got harassed by someone staying there, then heard loud banging on the other side of the wall. Felt extremely unsafe, checked out and left and contacted them for my money back and they refuse. How is this place still operating? Disgusting business practice.

You get what you pay for! If the cost is cheap then the accommodations are going to be horrible! Adults should be able to figure that out pretty easily. Should have slept in your car. By the way, I have never set foot in this establishment. I feel sad for the kids living there. 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

Desert moon motel told me there a 50$ deposit for non smoking room, which I don’t smoke cause I have stage 4 kidney disease and the manager told me that my room smell like smoke or weed , which I was targeted for the deposit which I lost cause of false accusations, beware of this motel or you might be the next one that lose your deposit

The staff are warm and welcoming, the room was clean and had had been partly refurbished - including a nice TV.. However the underlying quality of accommodation is poor and I was left with a sense of insecurity. Every Uber driver warned me about the area, the door was flimsy, no safe for valuables. The room was ok as a basic bedroom (I was just after a bed to sleep in) but the images on the web present a falsely positive view. The quality of the underlying building, furnishings and facilities was poor - curtains didn’t cover the window properly, there were no coffee facilities, the door had a gap in it… and whilst it was cheaper than being in the city centre you need to factor in $40+ each way for an Uber
