Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas South

I loved every bit of this stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, the parking lot was clean and safe and the room was roomy and extremely comfortable. I was meeting friends who stayed on the strip, so my car was the key to this stay. In a very clean and safe area, lots of restaurants and stores in the area (including Costco), this location had every thing I needed within arms' reach. I highly recommend this property!!!

We have stayed at this location twice and it was a great experience. However this stay was very different. Filthy dirty room, stained ceding, marred furniture, toilet paper stuck to the dirty bathroom floor, food under the heating unit, food on the wall. Went directly to the front desk and got a set of sheets because I questioned if they had been changed so I did it myself. Headed to the local Walmart to purchase chloride wipes and cleaned the shower, wall, doorknobs etc. Not up to Hilton standards and honestly this chain seems to be going downhill. Going to give Marriott a try.

The Good The location of the hotel was pretty good. The neighbourhood was safe and there’s food within walking distance if you were hungry. It’s away from the highway so it’s decently quiet overall. The room was given to us (as members) was on the fourth floor and was quiet overall. It was spacious and well designed with all the necessary details. The room was clean as far as I could tell. Breakfast selection was decent as well. The Bad The air conditioning unit in the room is well due for maintenance. It gave off a burning smell when we put it on heat. It was also extremely noisy at various points of the night. More importantly though, we were charged with a mysterious 10% charge. We paid for the room in full on the website and when we checked in, the lady confirmed that we had paid in full. But the next morning, we noticed that there was an another charge of 10%. We approached the counter to ask and the man on duty was really rude and did not give a proper explanation despite us informing him that his colleague had confirmed we paid in full. We have stayed in many Hampton Inns and are Hilton Honors members and this charge has not ever happened to us before. We really did not like it and will likely not stay again.

Trish was great! She helped us check in quickly and accommodated my families needs. The hotel is in a great location and easy to access. Easy parking and decent breakfast. Next time in Vegas we will come back! Thanks team for making a memorable stay for us!
